EXT. NEW YORK CITY LOFT SEPTEMBER 11TH, TUESDAY MORNING



A young woman in her 20s dressed in a womans business suit, exits her apartment building. With her briefcase in one hand, she uses the other to hail a cab. The sun has risen already, clear skies all around. A few seconds after she gets into a cab and pulls away, a young guy in a t-shirt and blue jeans runs out of the building and just gets a glimpse of the woman getting in the cab and driving off.



MAN



Laura!



He calls out to the cab again hoping she would hear him and make the car stop.



MAN



Laura!



Shit.



He also hails a cab and quickly gets in.



CUT TO



INT. TAXI CAB MORNING



The man is trying to keep an eye on the cab Laura got in but the traffic is quickly consuming the street and soon hes straining to peer through the windshield to see if he can spot her somewhere, somehow. His heart is racing and hes becoming agitated and scared.



He then looks out to his right, seeing a melting pot of people crowding the sidewalks. At this point hes almost sure of it that hes lost her and his eyes begin to well up with tears, feeling like he cant breath. But then, as sure as miracles exist, he sees her. He sees her sitting on a bench. He cant believe what hes seeing. For the first few seconds he thinks he mustve mistaken her for someone else but true love doesnt deceive. He becomes antsy with excitement that he can barely keep it in.



GUY



Laura? Laura!



(To the cab driver)



Sir, can you please stop the cab?



TAXI DRIVER



What?



GUY



Just pull over here! Here is fine!



He pulls out a wad of cash from his pocket and hands it to the driver as the car stops. He gets out of the cab.



As he steps on to the sidewalk, seeing her sitting there on the bench with her briefcase on her lap, he gets filled with the feeling of happiness and anxiousness but at the same time feels calm inside because for once hes not afraid of what will happen next.



It is at that point when she looks up at him with tears already streaming down her cheeks that he knows for sure. Its without a doubt in his mind that he knows now that hes made a right choice for once in his life.



Surprised by his presence in front of her she gets up from the bench. Its the moment of truth for them both as they stand across from each other and everyone and everything around them move in slow motion.

INT. HOSPITAL MORNING (DECEMBER, 1950)



Two women, both about to have babies, are rushed to the delivery rooms while they are both doing their Lamaze breathing, grunting and screaming in pain. Both husbands are by their sides, holding their wives hands until they reach the delivery room and are stopped from going in.

INT. HOSPITAL WAITING ROOM MORNING



Both husbands are waiting in the room patiently for news upon their newborn babies. They notice each other.

A nurse then comes into the waiting room with a baby for one of the men.

Dannys eyes light up when he sees his son. John looks on proudly.

The nurse gets a nervous look on her face as she turns to John. Danny also looks over at John when he sees the look on the nurses face. She walks over to John in private to talk to him.

Sir, the last I checked there was some complications



With your wifes delivery...

Danny walks over to him. The two men stand there, holding their newborn children. John looks to the nurse in wonderment about something. She looks back at him with reassuring eyes.

She gets out a piece of paper and a pencil and writes down her number. She hands it to him. Both smiling they back away from each other and turn around to head to their classes.



Running on the way to his class, Matt turns a corner and slips and falls. Bethany catches this and begins to giggle. Matt just gets up quickly and straightens himself out.

Im ok, really I am.



Not even a second later he runs back to class and she does too.

INT. DINER FRIDAY NIGHT



Bethany Ann walks into the diner and sees Matthew sitting at a booth all by himself. He looks nervous but hes got a newspaper and a coke to keep his mind off of being not so slick. He looks up and sees her. He stands up and walks over to her to greet her with a shy smile and a certain quiet way about him but that doesnt scream awkward mute.

Hi, Bethany.



BETHANY



Hi, Matthew.



MATTEW



Let me take your coat.



BETHANY



Oh, thank you.



She takes off her coat and hands it to him. He hangs it on a coat rack by the door and by the time he turns around shes already walking to his table. As soon as he sees her he also walks over to his table, they sit down.



A short silence fills the air only for a bit until Matt decides to take charge. He catches a middle-aged waitress as she walks past them.

Excuse me, Ms. could you get her...



(Points to Bethany)



BETHANY

She walks away to get the soda.

Shes a little skittish about how hes staring at her so she just shrugs it off and continues talking.

Yeah, its a great testament to how love is.

Matthew and Bethany dance out the rest of the song. People are peering at them, trying not to make it obvious that theyre looking but that doesnt seem to work. Bethany has her arms around Matthews neck as he has his hands on her waist. They sway beautifully to the song as they begin to look into each others eyes. They see a certain gleam in each others eyes that send a chill down their spines and give them goose bumps. She slowly rests her head on his shoulder.



WE SLOWLY PAN RIGHT TO SEE OUT THE WINDOW THAT ITS RAINING. Its pouring cats and dogs outside. But as we push in to get a clearer view we see a young man around the age of 17 standing out in the rain, getting drenched on by the water and hes peering through the window watching Beth and Matt dancing.



Things are going well and everyone seems to be enjoying the show of the two teens dancing in a diner to a romantic song when suddenly the song ends and just as Beth and Matt look into each others eyes, a hand grabs Matthews shoulder from behind him. He turns around to see that kid from outside! He pushes Matt aside and gets up close to Beth.

Kevin!



KEVIN



Bethany Ann.



What are you doing here with this guy?



BETH



Kevin, what are you doing here period?



I thought you were getting help.

People in the diner start getting agitated and a little nervous by whats going on.

Matt is standing by the diner door when Kevin storms out of the place. He gets up in Matts face.

He moves in closer to Matt. Whispering in his ear.

As he walks away Matt glares at him. The rain stops gradually and Beth walks out of the diner over to Matt.

THROUGH A PERIOD OF A YEAR, MATTHEW AND BETH SPEND ALL OF THEIR TIME TOGETHER, GETTING COZY AND FLIRTY DURING SCHOOL AND HAVING FIGHTS OVER THE PHONE.



They have fights over jealousy issues, Kevin, and everything else. And then the next minute theyre kissing and making up.

Matt has got his convertible car during the springtime and him and Beth are in the car kissing. Its a clear night outside. Its neither cold nor warm but a slight comfortable breeze blows.



They pull away from each others kiss as they look into one anothers eyes. Matthew cradles Beths face in his hands. He sees that shes crying a little.

Are you ok? Whats wrong?



BETH



Whats going to happen to us, Matt?



I mean school is almost over. Just



One more month left and well be



Graduating high school.



He slightly shakes his head.

At this point, Beths world is crumbling down. It shows on her face.

As Beth has a sigh of relief, her happiness taking over whatever doubts she was having, Matt looks up at the full moon glowing, bringing light to a pitch black night. He then sees a whole mass of diamond-like stars shining and twinkling, covering the night sky.



He then looks over at her with glazed eyes; she turns to look at him. Its in this moment that he leans in and kisses her deeply, and every ounce of energy put into the kiss is filled with love. He softly takes a hold of the sides of her face with both his hands and continues kissing her.



Matthew slowly pulls away from the kiss and looks into her eyes and smiles. He then pulls out a small black box from his pocket and makes sure that Bethany can see it. She looks down at it with puzzlement and nervousness. As she looks up at him, he quickly opens the box to take whatever gift is in there and closes it back up.

He steps out of the car and begins to slowly walk over to the other car that just scared them half to death. As Bethany keeps an eye on Matt, the closer he gets to the car, the harder it is getting to see him. She continues squinting, trying to make sure that hes ok.



Matthew gets right up to the door only to discover its Kevin sitting in the drivers seat. Matt looks down at Kevins lap and sees something black sitting in his lap.



Bethany, in a blink of an eye, sees Matt beginning to back up slowly away from the car.

She then sees Kevin get out of his car, holding something in his hand.

In an instant, without warning and to make an attempt to disarm him, Matthew begins to charge at him. Kevin turns over to Matthew with the gun raised and pulls the trigger.

(Screams out of fright of the loud pop that came from the gun)

She runs over to his side as he lies on the ground bleeding badly. Hes holding his chest with his right hand; his left hand is clenched into a fist next to him. He fights to take a breath but it only hurts.

After Matthew being buried, Bethany Ann is finding it hard to go on. She finds that getting up in the morning to go to school is a task. Its Sunday Morning and its a day her and her parents usually go to church. Her mother knocks on her door only to find Beth already awake and sitting on the edge of her bed staring at the floor.

She opens one of his desk drawers and takes out a small key, she holds it up in front of her to closely examine it. She then walks over to a small cabinet in the wall and puts the key in the lock and opens it up. She reaches in a dark space in the wall where all the personal important things are held and pulls out her fathers pistol he keep stored away as a just in case thing. Its already loaded so she cocks the hammer back slowly and points it at her chest where her heart would be and looks up as if she was talking to her high school sweetheart in the heavens above.

The nurse comes back out holding Johns baby. John looks over at the nurse with an _expression of relief on his face.

Johns eyes begin filling up with tears as the nurse gives him his baby. He handles her with sensitivity and care, as if he is afraid to break her.



Danny walks over to him. The two men stand there, holding their newborn children. John looks to the nurse in wonderment about something. She looks back at him with reassuring eyes.



NURSE



Shes doing just fine.



Shes just resting now.



John grows a big smile on his face.



DANNY



See? I told you man.



Everything is ok.



JOHN



(Looking down at his daughter and smiling)



Yeah, everything is ok.

So whats your daughters name?



John continuing to look at his newborn daughter he doesnt hesitate to name her.

INT. HIGH SCHOOL MONDAY MORNING, 1967



All students are scattering off to their morning classes. A young kid and his friends walk down the hall to their classes. The group of friends is talking to each other as they are walking down the hall.

MATT



Yeah, it didnt work out.



MATTS FRIEND 2

Taking to the prom next year?



MATT



Hey, Im sure Ill find someone.



Prom is not until next year. That means



I have a whole year to find someone to go with.

Down the hall and around the corner, a girl is walking with her friends and a guy walks up to her, kind of a geeky kid.



GEEK



Hey Bethany, whats going on for this weekend?



Doing anything?



Her friends look at her, expecting her to say something, anything.



BETHANY



Uh yeah, actually, Theodore I have to ummm



Go away with my parents this weekend to



Meet some relatives.



THEODORE



Oh, ok. Well, maybe next weekend.



BETHANY



Yeah, maybe.



Theodore stops in his tracks and marvels at the maybe he just got.



THEODORE



All right then, now were getting somewhere.



As both groups of friends are turning the corner to get to their classes Bethany and Matthew bump into each other, knocking Bethany on her can.



MATTHEW



Oh my god, are you ok?



BETHANY



Yeah, Im fine.



Matthew takes her hand and helps her up.



MATTHEW



Are you sure youre ok?



Bethany laughs it off.



BETHANY



Yeah, Im sure. Thank you.



She begins picking up her books from the floor and he begins to help.



BETHANY



Oh, thank you again.



Matthew smiles up at her.



MATTHEW



Youre welcome.



After shes gotten all her books again theres an awkward silence between them for a few seconds. Just then both of their friends say they have to be going to classes and they all scatter to their classrooms, leaving Matthew and Bethany by themselves.



Matthew tries to use wit as a greeting.



MATTHEW



So um, hi I guess we havent been



Properly introduced. Im Matt.



BETHANY



Bethany Ann.



They shake hands.



MATTHEW



Are you new here?



BETHANY



I actually just moved here during the summer.



What about you?



MATTHEW



Starting my junior year.



BETHANY



Oh, yeah me too.



MATTHEW



Cool.



Right at that moment the bell rings.



MATTHEW



Oh, saved by the bell I guess huh?



BETHANY



(Chuckles)



Yeah.



MATTHEW



Well, I guess Ill see you around.



BETHANY



Yeah, ok.



Both are giddy over each other. They begin to walk away in separate directions when Matt remembers something.



MATTHEW



Oh, hey, Bethany.



She turns around and Matt runs up to her.



MATTHEW



I forgot to ask you...



(Catches his breath)



BETHANY



Yeah.



MATTHEW



I was wondering if you would maybe wanna



Go out this weekend. We could grab something



To eat, maybe catch a movie.



BETHANY



Yeah, that sounds cool. Just let me



Give you my number.



She gets out a piece of paper and a pencil and writes down her number. She hands it to him. Both smiling they back away from each other and turn around to head to their classes.



Running on the way to his class, Matt turns a corner and slips and falls. Bethany catches this and begins to giggle. Matt just gets up quickly and straightens himself out.



MATTHEW



Im ok, really I am.



Not even a second later he runs back to class and she does too.



CUT TO:



INT. DINER FRIDAY NIGHT



Bethany Ann walks into the diner and sees Matthew sitting at a booth all by himself. He looks nervous but hes got a newspaper and a coke to keep his mind off of being not so slick. He looks up and sees her. He stands up and walks over to her to greet her with a shy smile and a certain quiet way about him but that doesnt scream awkward mute.



MATTHEW



Hi, Bethany.



BETHANY



Hi, Matthew.



MATTEW



Let me take your coat.



BETHANY



Oh, thank you.



She takes off her coat and hands it to him. He hangs it on a coat rack by the door and by the time he turns around shes already walking to his table. As soon as he sees her he also walks over to his table, they sit down.



A short silence fills the air only for a bit until Matt decides to take charge. He catches a middle-aged waitress as she walks past them.



MATTHEW



Excuse me, Ms. could you get her...



(Points to Bethany)



BETHANY



Ill take a coke, thanks.



WAITRESS



Sure.



She walks away to get the soda.



BETHANY



So this is a nice little joint.



MATT



Yeah, I like to come here when things get hectic.



BETHANY



Really?



MATT



Yeah not really, I dont know why I said that.



MATT (Cont.)



Sorry. So, how has the move been?



BETHANY



Its been ok.



The waitress sets the Coke in front of Bethany and she sticks a straw in and begins sipping. Matthew however is finding this to be quite cute and grows a little grin.



BETHANY (Cont.)

MATT



Nothing.



BETHANY



Ok. Well, anyway, like I was saying...



Matt keeps on grinning as he begins noticing little things about her. The way she sits, the way when she talks she twirls some of her hair in her finger. Bethany, fed up with this little charade of flirty looks and grins, finally speaks up.



BETHANY



What, what are you gawking at?



MATT



Oh, sorry. Yes, as you were saying...



Shes a little skittish about how hes staring at her so she just shrugs it off and continues talking.



BETHANY



Ok...well, like I was saying before, the move



Was a little tiring and a little difficult



Being that I have to make new friends.



But this new school Im at is nicer than



The one I was at before.



MATT

Matthew and Bethany are talking up a storm and laughing and having a good time until Bethany hears a song she likes. It happens to be When A Man Loves A Woman By Percy Sledge.

Oh my god, I love this song.



MATTHEW

BETHANY



Yeah, its a great testament to how love is.



MATTHEW



Oh really.



BETHANY



Well yeah, dont you believe in love?



MATTHEW



Sure, of course.



She gives him a glaring look, a suspicious look that really doesnt believe his answer.



BETHANY



Why dont I believe you?



MATTHEW



Well, ok, true love?



Yeah, I dont know about that.



Beth is taken back by what she just heard; her mouth gaped open out of shock.



MATTHEW



Well, Im sorry. I believe that you fall



In love with someone and that love grows.

She tries to get past everything he just said considering the fact that shes been having a great time with this really nice guy. She figures its just a phase hes going through or something.

Its just something made up.

Matt takes a drink of his soda.

Matt looks around and modestly smiles at her.

INT. DINER NIGHT



Matthew and Bethany dance out the rest of the song. People are peering at them, trying not to make it obvious that theyre looking but that doesnt seem to work. Bethany has her arms around Matthews neck as he has his hands on her waist. They sway beautifully to the song as they begin to look into each others eyes. They see a certain gleam in each others eyes that send a chill down their spines and give them goose bumps. She slowly rests her head on his shoulder.



WE SLOWLY PAN RIGHT TO SEE OUT THE WINDOW THAT ITS RAINING. Its pouring cats and dogs outside. But as we push in to get a clearer view we see a young man around the age of 17 standing out in the rain, getting drenched on by the water and hes peering through the window watching Beth and Matt dancing.



Things are going well and everyone seems to be enjoying the show of the two teens dancing in a diner to a romantic song when suddenly the song ends and just as Beth and Matt look into each others eyes, a hand grabs Matthews shoulder from behind him. He turns around to see that kid from outside! He pushes Matt aside and gets up close to Beth.



BETH



Kevin!



KEVIN



Bethany Ann.



What are you doing here with this guy?



BETH



Kevin, what are you doing here period?



I thought you were getting help.



KEVIN



Well, I got better.



MATT



Bethany, is everything ok?



BETH



Matt, its ok.



KEVIN



Matty, dont worry about it. Everythings cool.



Look, can I just have a minute with Beth?



People in the diner start getting agitated and a little nervous by whats going on.



BETH



(To Matt nervously)



Uh, Matthew, can you give us a second?



Just one second, I promise, its fine.



He doesnt wanna leave her but she said it was going to be ok. Unwilling, Matthew backs away to go outside. He grabs his coat and after he walks outside, he sees Beth take Kevin towards the back of the diner to talk in private. He watches them talk for a while, seems as though theyre having a heated discussion. Then he just walks away from her as shes continuing talking to him. Matt is standing by the diner door when Kevin storms out of the place. He gets up in Matts face.



KEVIN



You stay away from her, you hear me?



He moves in closer to Matt. Whispering in his ear.



KEVIN



I will kill you if you near her again.



As he walks away Matt glares at him. The rain stops gradually and Beth walks out of the diner over to Matt.



MATT



Ex-boyfriend?



BETH



I am so sorry, Matt.



I really am.



I didnt know he was going to be here.



Are you ok?



MATT



Yeah I guess so.



Are you ok?



BETH



(Takes a deep breath)



Yeah.



MATT



You sure?



BETH



Yeah, Im fine.



She gets close to him, pulls him closer to her by his jacket. He opens his arm and wraps them around Beth, comforting her. The rain is soaking the two of them until it lets up and soon only a light drizzle begins to diminish.



She looks up at him with dreamy, nervous eyes that begin to give her away. He looks down into her eyes and she nuzzles her head into his chest as he looks out with a worried _expression on his face.



CUT TO:



THROUGH A PERIOD OF A YEAR, MATTHEW AND BETH SPEND ALL OF THEIR TIME TOGETHER, GETTING COZY AND FLIRTY DURING SCHOOL AND HAVING FIGHTS OVER THE PHONE.



They have fights over jealousy issues, Kevin, and everything else. And then the next minute theyre kissing and making up.



DISSOLVE TO:



INT. MATTHEWS CAR NIGHT



Matt has got his convertible car during the springtime and him and Beth are in the car kissing. Its a clear night outside. Its neither cold nor warm but a slight comfortable breeze blows.



They pull away from each others kiss as they look into one anothers eyes. Matthew cradles Beths face in his hands. He sees that shes crying a little.



MATTHEW



Are you ok? Whats wrong?



BETH



Whats going to happen to us, Matt?



I mean school is almost over. Just



One more month left and well be



Graduating high school.



He slightly shakes his head.



MATTHEW



I dont know whats going to happen to us



At this point, Beths world is crumbling down. It shows on her face.



MATTHEW



But I know I wanna spend my whole life with you.



I dont want to ever spend the rest of my days



Without you. Youre the one for me.



As Beth has a sigh of relief, her happiness taking over whatever doubts she was having, Matt looks up at the full moon glowing, bringing light to a pitch black night. He then sees a whole mass of diamond-like stars shining and twinkling, covering the night sky.



He then looks over at her with glazed eyes; she turns to look at him. Its in this moment that he leans in and kisses her deeply, and every ounce of energy put into the kiss is filled with love. He softly takes a hold of the sides of her face with both his hands and continues kissing her.



Matthew slowly pulls away from the kiss and looks into her eyes and smiles. He then pulls out a small black box from his pocket and makes sure that Bethany can see it. She looks down at it with puzzlement and nervousness. As she looks up at him, he quickly opens the box to take whatever gift is in there and closes it back up.



MATTHEW



Bethany Ann, you mean more to me than anything



In the entire worldso, what I guess Im asking is



JUST THEN A CAR RACES OVER TO THEM AND STOPS ON A DIME NEXT TO MATTHEWS CAR, THE HEADLIGHTS BLINDING THE COUPLE.

What the hell

Matthew, be careful.



He steps out of the car and begins to slowly walk over to the other car that just scared them half to death. As Bethany keeps an eye on Matt, the closer he gets to the car, the harder it is getting to see him. She continues squinting, trying to make sure that hes ok.



Matthew gets right up to the door only to discover its Kevin sitting in the drivers seat. Matt looks down at Kevins lap and sees something black sitting in his lap.



Bethany, in a blink of an eye, sees Matt beginning to back up slowly away from the car.



BETHANY



Matt, is everything all right?



MATT



Beth, just stay in the car, ok?



Dont get out.



BETHANY



Matthew youre scaring me, whats going on?



She then sees Kevin get out of his car, holding something in his hand.



BETHANY



Kevin what are you doing here?!



KEVIN



I told him, Bethy. I told him to stay away.



I thought you were faithful Beth. I really did.



I love you and youre going out with him??



He raises whats in his hand and she finally makes out what hes holding. Its a handgun. He points it at her.



KEVIN



Youre a cheating bitch, Bethy.



All you do is hurt people. I hate you. I hate you!



In an instant, without warning and to make an attempt to disarm him, Matthew begins to charge at him. Kevin turns over to Matthew with the gun raised and pulls the trigger.



BETHANY



(Screams out of fright of the loud pop that came from the gun)



NO!!



She runs over to his side as he lies on the ground bleeding badly. Hes holding his chest with his right hand; his left hand is clenched into a fist next to him. He fights to take a breath but it only hurts.



BETHANY



(Begins to weep)



Please Matthew, please, stay with me.



Look at me. Matthew, look at me.



By this time Kevin has gotten in his car and races away.



Matt looks up at the night sky and then over to Beth.



BETHANY



(Can barely breathe from crying so hard)



I wanna spend my life with you. Please dont go.



MATTHEW



(In a scratchy, gasping voice)



I was wonderingifif you would marry me.



I love you, Bethany Ann.



As he lets out his last breath, his left hand unclenches and sees a ring in the palm of his hand. She looks down at his hand as it releases it tension and sees the ring. He looks back up at his lifeless face and buries hers into his shoulder and begins to sob uncontrollably.



The radio to his car is still on and the DJ comes on to announce the next song.

Two Weeks And Four Days Later



After Matthew being buried, Bethany Ann is finding it hard to go on. She finds that getting up in the morning to go to school is a task. Even to look at herself in the mirror is thought shed rather not think about. Concentrating on school is a definite problem and boys are a non-issue and dont exist to her.



CUT TO:



INT. BETHANYS HOUSE - MORNING



Its Sunday Morning and its a day her and her parents usually go to church. Her mother knocks on her door only to find Beth already awake and sitting on the edge of her bed staring at the floor.



She walks over to her daughter with a heart full ache and concern.



BETHANYS MOTHER



Bethany Ann, I think it would be a good idea



That you go to church.



Beth slowly shakes her head.



BETHANYS MOTHER



It would do you some good.



BETHANY



Mother, I have been going to church.



Look, can I just take a day off? Please.



Bethanys mom is hurt and certainly feels the heartache that her daughter is feeling. She nods and kisses Bethanys head before she walks out of her daughters room.



CUT TO:



INT. BETHANYS ROOM MORNING



She watches the car pull away and drive down the street. We then follow her out of her room, down the hall, downstairs, through the kitchen and into her fathers work-study room. Its filled with shelves and shelves of books and on his desk its covered with papers among other things.



She opens one of his desk drawers and takes out a small key, she holds it up in front of her to closely examine it. She then walks over to a small cabinet in the wall and puts the key in the lock and opens it up. She reaches in a dark space in the wall where all the personal important things are held and pulls out her fathers pistol he keep stored away as a just in case thing. Its already loaded so she cocks the hammer back slowly and points it at her chest where her heart would be and looks up as if she was talking to her high school sweetheart in the heavens above.



BETHANY ANN



Baby, I cant take this anymore.



So what Im about to do shouldnt hurt,



Being that it already hurts too much to bare.

INT. THE HALL OUTSIDE THE WORK-STUDY ROOM MORNING



Theres a dead calm right before we hear a loud pop that would certainly cause anyones ears to ring for quite some time if near it, then we hear the thud of Bethanys body falling on the floor.



FADE OUT:

One day Kelly was walking to school and when she got to school, three of her peers were waiting for her: Amanda, Ashley, and Gabby. Of course Ashley saw a puppy and she said, full of excitement, “Oh my Goddess, there's a little' pup!" Kelly turned around in excitement and shouted, “That’s my puppy! Rox go home!... Go home now before I..." Ashley interrupted, “He doesn't have to go, does the dog play anything like fetch or Frisbee?" Amanda, shaking her head said, “Ashley, I don't believe the dog would play with you anyways." Ashley went over to Kelly in exaggeration and said, “The dog! He can... uh... maybe play b-ball wit us! Can he?" Gabby said, “Oh my God!"... and walked away. Ashley just gave up on asking and waiting for an answer, so she asked one more time in an impatient voice, “Can the dog play anything?" Kelly answered in a deep, harsh voice, “No! Ashley, he cant! So stop asking, okay?" Ashley glanced at the dog and said in a mean voice, “Okay. Meow. I'll take the dog myself and teach him." Ashley walked in the gym with Rox. Kelly flipped her hair back and said screaming with anger, “Ash, you can have the dog, he's boring anyways! Gabby where you at? Gabby? Amanda? Samantha? Wilma?" Amanda said, “Wilma?"... in a confused voice. She said, “Yeah, Flintstones! Ring a bell?" Amanda walked in the gym where Gabby, Samantha, Ashley, and Rox were. A few minutes later, Kelly walked in the gym and Amanda was on the sideline, so Kelly decided to join her. Ashley and Samantha were trying to teach Rox how to play basketball and the ball vanished. Amanda and Kelly, at the same time, screamed, “Oh my God! Where'd the ball go?" Afterwards they were just talking and talking and you couldn't understand anything they said, the only thing you could hear out of that mumble jumble they were speaking was Amanda saying, “It vanished! It went poof! Bye bye basketball!" Then Gabby, Steph, and Ashley were lurking around school, and when they had looked in the offices, the halls, the bathrooms, the gym, they go outside (where the little kids playground is) and found Rox lying there, sick as a dawg and Ashley screamed crying, “Rox! My poor Rox! What happen? Someone pick him up! Okay, then I will!" When she picked him up there was a snake under her. Kelly screamed, “Ahhh! Guys, where y'all at?" Steph turned around slowly and said softly, “Shhh... Rox! Come look!" Kelly pranced over there and saw the snake, Rox, and the basketball. Kelly said, “The basketballs!" Steph and Amanda said, “Oh my Goddess!" Amanda said, “You’re so shameful." Ashley was still holding Rox and said, “Lets go see the psychic!" Kelly, Steph, and Gabby all shook their head yes. The Sam walked outside where they all were; walking to the psychic’s office, Sam said, “Tell me! Tell me! Tell me!" They knocked on a door that read 'Where you are, Is where you belong' and Ashley knocked three times softly, when they heard ghost sounds. Sam asked frightened, “K-K-Kelly, What are we doing'?" Kelly said, “Something 'bout Rox." Samantha said, “Oh!"...as she walked towards a chair that was sitting in front of her. Ashley knocked on the door three times harder, three times after listening to Kelly and Sam talk about her and Rox. The door opened and a lady with a weird thing on her head and a dress like outfit on said, “C’mon in ladies. Ashley, What’s wrong wit Rox? It's blurry to me right now." All the girls walked in the dark, spooky room. The psychic had a tag on and it read 'Ms. Bum is Rich'. Ashley and Kelly just looked at each other after seeing it. Ms. Bum told Ashley, before she even got to tell her that Rox was her dog, “Rox is going to pass away and no one knows what happened to the basketballs. Now! Go home and love your dog!" So all the girls left and looked at each other and Ashley said, “Rox! Roxie Pooh! Talk! Bark! Anything?!" She started to cry and say, “How’d she know..." But the bell rung before she had the chance to finish the sentence. Later that day, Ashley took Rox and buried him. He had died at 2:45 P.M. on December 1st, 2004. That day will forever stay in their minds.

Once upon a time there was an elder couple, Mr. and Mrs. Bundy. They were having a nice stroll at the park, in the cold, wet night. Mr. Bundy saw a sparkling banana lying in the street and a little, about 5 years old, playing with it. Mr. Bundy walked into the street going to get the little boy and the little boy whispered something to the banana; and a school bus flew by, nearly missing Mr. Bundy. Mrs. Bundy wailed at the sight of the little boy and Mr. Bundy getting hit by the school bus. Mr. Bundy snatched the boy and carried him to the other side of the street. Mr. Bundy asked the little boy, "Little boy... what's your name? Are you okay? How old are you? Where's your family?" The little boy answered, "Saunti... yes... huh?" Mrs. Bundy giggled and said slowly, "Where is your family?... mom... dad... sister... brother... anyone?" Saunti sighed answering, "Curse!" Saunti had a tear come from his eye. He said, "My banana. Where’s my banana?" Mr. Bundy answered," In the garbage can (pointing). Over there." Saunti ran over to the garbage can saying, "The curse, the banana, and my family." He danced and mumbled; like that he was gone. The banana was lying where his feet were. Mr. and Mrs. Bundy were startled. They jumped to the banana and threw it away. The banana somehow got out of the garbage can. When Mrs. Bundy went to dig in her purse, getting her keys, she spotted the nasty ole' shiny banana. She tugged on Mr. Bundy's shirt telling him, "That nasty ole' banana was in my purse. Are you playing a trick on me? Dave Albert Bundy!" Mr. Bundy answered, "No nothing' like that. I have no idea what happened. Honest." Mrs. Bundy threw the banana away after entering the house. She wished, without even thinking, "I wish that me and you had luck," while talking to Mr. Bundy about Saunti's death. Mr. Bundy was pacing back and forth and the house shook like an earthquake had taking place. It suddenly stopped. There was a leprechaun standing right in front of there faces with a banana, the same exact one that Mrs. Bundy had thrown away when she entered the house, in his right hand. Mr. and Mrs. Bundy look at each other in confused facial expressions. They look back at the leprechaun. He had hug smile on his face as he shoves the banana in front, even further, in there face. He informs, "Take de banana. It's important to your health." As the leprechaun told them that he winked at them as well. Mr. Bundy said, "What do we do with that nasty banana?" The leprechaun pushed the banana even further forward until it was one inch from touching their hands. The leprechaun said, "Make a wish, like you did for me. Now I will stay here forever." Mr. and Mrs. Bundy sighed. Mrs. Bundy said, "Is this for real? Am I dreaming?" Mrs. Bundy pinched herself, laughed and said loudly, "Ouch!" Mr. Bundy shook his head and said, "Well, If that’s the case," speaking without thinking, "I wish," taking the nasty ole' sparkling banana, "I wish that Saunti was still alive!" Mrs. Bundy said, "Wait!" the leprechaun put down his hand and danced some kind of leprechaun dance. The house shook twice as hard as the last one this time. The pictures on the wall, the things on the table, the dishes in the sink and in the sink fell on the ground, their dogs barked, Mr. and Mrs. Bundy even fell. The leprechaun was sitting on the couch watching the blank television. Saunti was sitting next to him with his back toward Mr. and Mrs. Bundy. Mr. Bundy walked in front of them, when he did he said lousy, "Oh my Lord!" Mrs. Bundy ran over there, where Mr. Bundy was. She screamed, "Where's his face?" Saunti smiled saying, "Oh! Ma'am! How'd you know," answered the leprechaun. Saunti said, "You made a bad decision to touch the banana because when you touch it, the person who does, their whole family, all together, can make three wishes. How many wishes has your family made so far?" Mrs. Bundy answered, " Two wishes thus far." She smiled and looked at Mr. Bundy. Mr. Bundy sighed, "When ever I wished, we didn’t get what we wanted." Saunti said, I cam answer that one, now that I'm experienced." Saunti rolled his eyes while saying, "You have to be specific in detail." Mr. Bundy said, "We wished for luck and we got the leprechaun, we wished you back and we got you back… but you look horrible. Saunti said, "Yes, I know! My last wish was to see that someone-." The leprechaun stopped him and said, "One more thing, no one besides your family, can know about neither the banana nor your wishes; and if you do tell someone-." Saunti interrupted and hollered, "Don't tell them, and let them find out themselves." Mr. Bundy said, "Can y'all jus' tell is how come we got the banana wish thing?" The leprechaun and Saunti looked at each other. The leprechaun said, "No, but someone or something had to die on your families third wish. You also have to use the third wish to prevent your first two wishes catastrophe." Mr. Bundy said, "What," as Mrs. Bundy looked at the leprechaun in confusement. "The third wish must be used to prevent the tragedy caused by the first two wishes," said the leprechaun. Mrs. Bundy said excited, but depressed, "Oh! I get it. So... If I wish for-." The leprechaun interrupted purposely, "If you say anything that can cause for a wish to come true, you can't say it!" Mrs. Bundy looked at the leprechaun madly because he interrupted her. Then, she realized what he was doing and she hugged him. Mr. Bundy said, Thanks. So, if I wish something to happen, for someone to die, they will?" Saunti answered, "Yes ma'am!" He added, "okay. I'll wish then." Everyone looked at Mr. Bundy. Mrs. Bundy informed, "be careful darling'," as her false teeth fell out. Mr. Bundy wished while everyone was laughing at his wife, "I wish for everyone to die on earth!" Mrs. Bundy was catching her breath, picking up her teeth, and saying, "Daaaave! We're going to disappear all together!" As the house shook, Mr. and Mrs. Bundy witnessed the house shaking, everything falling off the walls, off the tables, and everything, but then... a white light came over them; and no one knew anything, but the white light…

There was once a guy who suffered

from cancer... A cancer that can't be treated.

He was 18 years old and he could die anytime.

All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken

cared by his mother. He never went outside

but he was sick of staying home and wanted

to go out for once.



So he asked his mother and she gave him

permission. He walked down his block and

found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store

and looked through the front door for a second as

he walked. He stopped and went back to look

into the store. He saw a young girl about his

age and he knew it was love at first sight. He

opened the door and walked in, not looking at

anything else but her. He walked closer and

closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.



She looked up and asked "Can I help you?"

She smiled and he thought it was the most

beautiful smile he has ever seen before and

wanted to kiss her right there.



He said "Uh... Yeah... Umm... I would like to

buy a CD." He picked one out and gave her

money for it.



"Would you like me to wrap it for you?" she

asked, smiling her cute smile again.



He nodded and she went to the back.



She came back with the wrapped CD and

gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store.

He went home and from then on, he went to

that store everyday and bought a CD, and she

wrapped it for him. He took the CD home

and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out

and he really wanted to but he couldn't. His

mother found out about this and told him to

just ask her.



So the next day, he took all his courage and

went to the store. He bought a CD like he did

everyday and once again she went to the

back of the store and came back with it

wrapped. He took it and when she wasn't looking, he left his

phone number on the desk and ran out…



!!!RRRRRING!!!



The mother picked up the phone and

said, "Hello?"



It was the girl!!! She asked for the boy and

the mother started to cry and said, "You don't

know? He passed away yesterday...



The line was quiet except for the cries of

the boy's mother. Later in the day. The mother

went into the boy's room because she

wanted to remember him. She thought she

would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the

closet. She was face to face with piles and

piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was

surprised to find all those CDs and she

picked one up and sat down on the bed and she

started to open one.



Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out

of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The

mother picked it up and started to read it.



It said: Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u

want to go out with me? Love, Jacelyn



The mother opened another CD...



Again there was a piece of paper. It said:

Hi... I think U R really cute. Do u want to go out

with me? Love, Jacelyn



Love is... when you've had a huge fight but

then decide to put aside your egos, hold

hands and say, "I Love You"
