Gone all wrong.

As he sat in the darkness he noticed it surrounded every inch of everything within his eyesight. It was almost suffocating, and he was sure it would be if not for the fact that he lived in the shadow realm. He loved the way the shadows cloaked his body, and made him into a unforeseeable threat. He was a force to be reckoned with, and with the shadows concealing his dangerous nature he was even more so of a danger to those who had signed their death certificates with blood. He was a calm one by nature, but when provoked it was as if the rage of a thousand mortals had branded together into one body, and anyone man foolish enough to enter his wrath upon that time deserved the death he was dealt. A soft clinking brought him back from inside the depths of his mind, and to his surroundings he had almost forgotten what his reason for being out on this drab night was for, and thankfully his dagger that rested gently in the palm of his right hand brought him back from his daze.

If one was powerful enough the only thing they would see from the depths of the shadows were two seemingly unattached floating violet orbs some would even say amethyst in color. He noted the time as he looked towards the sky, and sat patiently waiting for his victim to exit the sanctuary of her home. He wasn`t one to rush he knew just how carefully things had to be planned if all was to go well. Hell he had the scars to prove that if it wasn`t planned, and acted upon as planned thing`s get quite nasty especially when dealing with those detested lycans. He had always been one to prefer in, and out kills. Swiftly slip in behind, and unsuspecting target, and slice the throat or perhaps a dagger to the heart six inches of cold hard metal was all it took, and he had plenty of that.

Of course he never left without a gun. Just in case the dagger did fail he would need a safe proof weapon, and what better way to save your ass than a nice .45 caliber pistol loaded with titanium bullets alloyed with iron, aluminium, vanadium, and molybdenum. So to speak his bullets had stopping power, and to get hit with one of those was in most cases lethal.

As a light flickered in the house his eyes set upon their mark, and he watched as she stepped from her home. She donned a pale white hoody, and had company he did not expect all he saw was the gleam of silver from under the man`s coat, and he grew suspicious. His violet eyes trained in sharply upon the mans features sizing him up. He couldn`t make out who he is, but he knew the man was undead, and apparently he was acting as a protector to her. Hell he just walked out of her house. Braeden stood stretching his legs as he stayed behind the two using the shadows to cover him, and a power he possessed to silence his footsteps even though they were not completely inaudible. He assumed it should do the trick.

He stayed a good amount of distance behind the two, and if not for the second man who he still had not Identified he would`ve slit the woman`s throat and had been gone already. As they turned the corner he thought it best to take the alleyway, and come up beside them, and so he did. He rushed to the other side, and as he reached the entrance to the street a knee came out of no where, and slammed into his gut. He doubled over as pain shot through his body. He had no guard up, hell he was covered by the shadows what other guard did he need. He took no time to reorganize himself, and jump backwards allowing the shadows to dissipate from his body. He was caught already no need to continue to stalk his victims. As he assessed just who in the hell knee`d him he noticed it was the man he had seen walking with the woman, and he smirked with a slight tinge of pain behind it.

The other vampire was in a foul mood, and it was written well across his face, but Braeden did not care. He had business to take care of, and now that a knee was slammed into his stomach he had two people who wrote a death certificate. The two men never even exchanged words for vampires it was customary to get into the killing, and bother with names afterwards.

Braeden withdrew two daggers both of them were pressed into each of his palms. He took a step forward, and bolted in the direction of the other vampire. He threw his right hand out faking as if he was trying to deliver a death blow, and as the man blocked it his left shot around, and hit him beneath his ribcage on his right side. He grinned slightly as he watched the man yank out the dagger, and weild it in his own hand now. Braeden had the urge to just shoot the man, but what a waste of a bullet. He wanted to feel this one die anyway. The man moved next, and he was quick, but luckily Braeden was quicker. The only thing Braeden didn`t see was the knife hidden at the bottom of the mans boot, and as it struck his leg Braeden cursed scowling as he pushed the man backwards, and away from him. The pain inflicted stung like a Son of a bitch, but he used it to fuel his blood lust, and want for his head on a spike.

Violet eyes watched the man carefully as Braeden pulled his pistol now pissed off, and ready to blow a hole in the man. The gleaming chromed .45 oozed power, as he aimed it directly at the man.

"Say goodnight Sunshine" Those were the first words uttered, and the last ones the man would hear. He unloaded the clip into the vampires body, and oddly enough the Vampire just misted away. Braeden was at a loss for words his speech was gone, and he was shell shocked.

`A Shadow Clone` the words whispered through his mind like ice upon warm skin. He had been so busy worrying about killing the vampire he didn`t even realize the whole time it was a mere physical apparition, and that he was letting the target get away. A clone from the shadows at that... He lived, and dwelled in the shadows, and he failed to distinguish a simple clone. He holstered his gun, and picked up his daggers as he limped towards the last one he called upon the shadows to take him back. This was certainly what he did not want. The plan.

Mhmm... -he approached from behind her silently, her unknowing body fragile and sweet in the moonlight. Glimmering like a burning star he could see her pulse beating where the blood swam through her veins. He grabbed her and wrapped her in his arms her head tilted to the side unexpectedly and unsure of who or what had her. He opened his mouth, and his fangs shot out growing fast, his razor sharp canines bit down into her neck as her crimson flow came he could do nothing but drink. The overwhelming ecstacy of her blood made him lust for her body he tore away from her neck and spun her on the spot stopping her so she faced him he kissed her deeply.. His tongue entered her mouth and his soul entered her being...

"I.. I dont know what it is you do to me... " He stared at the young girl awkwardly.

She sighed heavily against his chest her crimson hair falling down over her shoulders. Hiding the spot where his teeth had punctured her neck.

Her body heaved against his. He watched her uncertainly as her hand ran across his chest. The monster inisde of him was roaring Wanting to break the chains that held it in. He could feel the rage of the beast beating against his tattered soul desperately trying to break free from the iron clad clasps that held it hostage. As she leaned across his chest, and into him he wondered how such a beauty could befall him.. Such a cruel being such as himself surely did not deserve this light. The beast gave a hard kick inside of him, and he cringed. He looked down upon the girl knowing he had to go or It would break free, and her life would be over.. With a kiss, and a promise to return to her. He fled..

The bite.

He patiently waits for the right moment as he sits in the shadows he watches her every movement waiting for the fatal mistake he was sure she would make.. His eyes never averted from her body, as he dragged his gaze back to her movements, and away from her ass he saw the perfect oppurtunity. It was too sweet to miss.. he lunged at her gripping her tightly from behind his mouth connected with her neck, and he held her tight drowning out the sounds of her suprise with his own moans of pleasure her sweet crimson sustenance filling his mouth, and traveling through his body, he smiled an detached himself from her neck leaving a soft kiss as he returned to the shadows...

He did not wait to see if she came to from the shock he simply left her there in her own wonderment. He could care less if she was down, and on her knee`s half drained he needed to feel that control he needed to know what he had done felt so good yet hurt with a passion. As he made his way out of the room, and down the darkened street he stuck to the shadow`s a new fire had lit inside of him, and he wandered on looking for his next victim hoping he could cause much more pain... His mind was feeling sadistic, and it felt like expressing it.......
