Only those who walk with death
Ever truly live
The sky is black again
With the arrow storm
And I can breathe again
Among the pagan hordes
My arm grows tired from my weighted blade
As the day burns hotter with the cleansing flames
I long to paint the path with crimson insides
The blood moon rises here at the end of time
The berserkr within
Will not be silent
The blood on the snow
And the meat that was rent

The air is cold again
With the promised night
When I can breathe again
The violence of the fight
The pile grows higher with the glorious dead

The smell of putrid meat pervading the air
When the time between battle leads to despair
