Naturally, I didn't accomplish everything I wanted to.
I did start peas and flowers in trays, planted two potted plants, and broke the ground for the extension to my potato bed.
I am a terrible gardener but having a grandchild made me want to make a better effort. My hope is that I will become better and she, having started young, will surpass me.
She loves to dig! This is something we nurture by providing her with tools and places to dig; and binge watching Time Team with her.
Friday morning I sowed carrots and lettuce with the hope that they will start as the warm temperatures persist.
I transplanted my strawberry in a location that had been much adored by a catnip.
Hopefully I will be putting russet potatoes next to my purples this week and the potato patch will grow.
My rosemary finally died last year so I got a new one and I plan on placing near my olive trees where I will also transplant my miniature roses; in what will be one of my herb gardens.
Sometime within the next two weeks we will also sow seeds in trays for flowers, herbs, and peas.
