As I was watching Kingdom of Heaven today, I realized how much I really wish war was like that these days. Im not one for killing, or war. But mankind will never stop killing each other or fighting. I respect how they use to fight, a lot more then today's fighting.

War these days, the army, military, etc. are all weak, in my mind. They sit miles away from their enemy and push a button to kill thousands, never coming in contact with the ones they kill. They shoot guns with ranges that they can never see the face they blow off within seconds of a trigger being pulled. I wonder if we stripped everyone of their guns and bombs and gave them swords and axes, etc..how many could really kill. Actually use their hands and strengh to take a life for a cause. Would they defend the cause they fight for now? Maybe we wouldn't be so eager to kill people if we knew we actually had to do ourselves and not a machine.

Back then fighting was more of an art, tactic and skills. These days you learn how to shoot a gun and detenate a bomb. Nothing beautiful about that, no passion in fighting. With a sword you fight, you put all your strengh into swinging it and blocking the one your fighting, you fight until ones dead. Guns, you pull a trigger, duck, and run, and hope you hit your "target". Where is the strengh?

I wish lived back then, things were just more understandable. (Though I'd be burned at the stake for my beliefs, :/)

If you live in europe which is about five hours ahead of america. You if you leave at 4 am on saturday and go to say Ny, where its 11p friday. Are you going back in time? Because its the day before....hmmm...
