I like to nibble playfully

When in the throws of lust

But biting too much deeper

Would require a lot of trust

Do people taste like chicken

Do people taste like beef

Are we tender like steak

And do we stick in between teeth

Do people taste like pork

Do people taste like fish

Are we salty like our sweat

Are we a main or side dish

Youre sweet when you are happy

And a little bitter when you’re sad

But from the taste of your lips I know

You’re the best meal I’ve ever had

Your hands are soft and tender

Your eyes look good enough to eat

Ill leave no scrap behind

You’re a feast from head to feet.

Vocal is my misery

And visual is my plight

Dead to those who knew me

Like the sun fading into night

Life was so damn sweet

Like sugar melting into tea

But I find I’m not like sugar

And that tea wants no part of me

Life can fuck you up

If you find your cards are down

But much like a roulette wheel

What goes around comes back around

Don’t fix what isn’t broken

Spiff it up and make it nice

Because appearances please the masses

Making nonconformity a vice

The world is but a playground

Full of the greatest kind of toys

A law for me a chair for you

And guns for girls and boys

he can drop the atomic bomb

But he cannot cure aids

I cannot find you true love

Meant less until now

Was lusterless somehow

i gave up forgetting

to remember to think

about dreaming about you

whenever i blink

i forgave all my demons

made peace with myself

now my angels dont want me

and i want noone else

i am wrecked and abandoned

by the onese i have spurned

and though ignorance is bliss

through it no lesson is learned

to be happy is to love you

and misery is to not

so i'll continue to remember

what i swore i forgot

to those who would hate me

and make my life hell

till i make amends with my life

and in your arms i dwell.

I ache from the work

and the load on my back.

I just cant seem to stop

i keep toting this pack.

all the pain is a measure

of what makes me a man

though what i do this for

i don't understand

i'm so tired of discussions

about what i believe

all i ask for is solace

and some fresh air to breath

i cannot patiently wait

so like others i hunt
