The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I just watched the latest Harry Potter film, The Half Blood Prince. When films develop the characters it’s great watching them grow and come of age. This was very much about first loves and discovering their feelings.

It made me think about the way I have been feeling lately and is all I can say is I think we all remain ‘coming of age’ where love and new feelings are concerned.

I got all choked up when Hermione obviously in love with Ron, sees him kissing another girl. She storms out the room in tears. Harry follows her out as he knows she’s hurting.

She has been in touch with her feelings from the last couple of films where Ron is concerned, but Ron being Ron just doesn’t see it even thou he knows he has feelings for her. She is also observant of Harry’s feelings for Ron’s sister Ginny who is seeing another guy ………….. still with me?!!

She asks Harry the question, ‘’how does it feel when you see them together?”

Suddenly Ron and the other girl come into view frolicking about. Hermione flares up with anger and love all rolled into one ………..

Harry replies, ‘’just like that’’!!!!

I wanted to cry. So well acted.

i know what you mean it is very well acted and its so great that the same people have been through them films for all these years....as i felt bad for hermione in the film because its so true that it always seems to happen that way lol

My daughter wasn’t well today, in fact she’d been ill since Friday. She seemed to perk up when I turned up today (at least that’s what I want to believe). She had been off her food too till I made some nibbles.

It’s hard to describe that you don’t want to see your kid in pain or discomfort and that I would gladly take her pain. But I guess it’s all part of growing up. **shrugs**

I made her some old fashioned boiled corn and melted butter, plain and simple and she tucked in happily.

We spoke tonight and she feels ready for school tomorrow. But we shall see!

You just don’t see that spirit anymore in this country; I want to see ‘that’ spirit again, I've been told you could liken it to the feeling people had during the blitz or maybe Dunkirk.

What happened? Where did it go?

I heard today that someone spiked a prize pumpkin so they would lose a competition.

The thing is it’s not just here on VR that people like to only highlight the bad or negative things in their life, we seem to do it in real life too. The papers are the worse culprits… they seem to have this need to write and tell us about the bad things in this country.

I happen to know that there is a massive gap between what gets talked of in the news and that which actually happens.

I have great faith in the good. People continually surprise me with their lovely hearts, wanting to roll up their sleeves to help their fellow man in need.
