I and a friend had a stroll along the beach last week, it was warm until the breeze kicked in.

But we braved the elements as the sun shone on and I'm glad we did, I couldn't believe what we came across...

We had a very own mini show .. right at the front, I was even asked to dance, now that would have been worth recording. lol

I would like to thank each and everyone of you.

I'm currently brainstorming ideas for my Coven ... gosh that sounded good, 'My Coven', lol.

I'll get there, slowly but surely, luckily I have friends who have great imagination and are brill at coding.

Another great weekend was had, this time in real life. As I mentioned in earlier threads August has alway seen a coming together of friends and this weekend was no different.

This time was the beautiful county of Norfolk to a tiny village called Happisburgh which boasts the oldest working lighthouse in East Anglia, and the only independently run lighthouse in Great Britain. It sits on the sea and is perfectly picturesque.

You can go right up to this famous icon and have a walk around which I have done many many times in my youth. I have known this particular friend for 37 years .... yes, we have been through much together. We would catch the train as kids and visit his great uncle during the summer school breaks.......

My friend inherited this very old farmhouse from his great uncle a few years back, over 150 people attended his funeral which is nearly a third of the population of this village.

At first the family were going to sell it with the land but thankfully changed their minds and now use it as a retreat.

Just to give you an idea of the seclusion of the place here a 'google earth' pic for you.

As it was just a simple overnighter we decided on a last min BBQ

Where we would be without the obligatory burnt sausage or two ..lol

I spent an hour in the kitchen chopping up and dicing meat, peppers and veg to skewer ... did we get a picture of that .. oh no. ... burnt bloody sausages!

The only thing that seems consistant is that there was never a shortage of booze ..

This is a picture of boys and their toys .. that's a helicopter in the box and it really flew .. till I took the controls.
