The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Not sure about spring but you could be forgiven for thinking that today was just another summer’s day. It’s really quite beautiful in the south of England today and I didn’t have to look for a jumper to throw on, it’s very much a t-shirt and shorts type of day and I will be out there soon.

Imagesinwords posted to her journal about loading her Itunes with a cd collection and it got me thinking…..

Even if you don’t have a Mac computer the Itunes library is probably the best software I have encountered to sort my music. The software was designed for the Mac originally and the only drawback I have found is that it pulls on a lot of memory which slows the pace of the computer if multitasking.

The simplicity of the software as a search engine is a delight. I’d tick the ‘like’ button all day with this one.

From the original 1000 or so cd's I already loaded I have increased on that to nearly 20.000 albums now. I created a 'short' playlist of some of my favourite songs which lasts 3.2 days, and that’s just a short list.

The day found me tidying up, job searching and watching an afternoon film. The film was an oldie, ‘Objective, Burma!’ Good ole’ Errol Flynn and every cliché in the book.

Quentin Tarantino's birthday is today. Hope he has a great and inspiring day.

Hope they show From Dusk till Dawn, I love that one.

The climax saw the end of the bad vampires, but what about Annie? I really do hope she breaks the rules and comes back when they start the 3rd series of Being Human next year.

With the clocks going forward I had to think how easy it was to make me feel ‘older’ if only by an hour and then to get younger again in winter. I don't know why they bother, must be someone making money from it!

Today I will relax in front of the telly as the first showing of Avatar comes to the small screen. I have seen it when it first came around and I remember enjoying it, so here I’ll be with some chocolate nosh.

I hate filling out online application forms. It seriously takes away any personal touch you feel would help your position. I truly feel my age is letting me down. I am so pissed off!

I will keep trying, I do have an interview in a couple of weeks … I just feel a little low.

I just found a fiver (a 5 pound note) under the ashtray on my coffee table. I had to ring my cousin to ask if he left it there as he was the last one sitting at the table .... he said 'no' ... yay me.

So that's daytime telly. Total crap.

One of the happiest of celebrations in the bible is that of ‘Purim’, which also lets us know it’s a month before the Passover. The full story can be found in the Biblical book of Esther.

On talking to my niece’s husband about my recent bad fortune who’s birthday fell on the first day of Purim, he said he wasn’t sure if Hamas were celebrating his birthday or Purim when they shelled the entire area of Ashdod (where they live in Israel) with rockets.

My problems just withered away as I counted my blessings.

With the economic climate the way it is it was no surprise when the company said last week it was to lay off 11 teams, that’s just over 60 people. Because of the nature of the job we can’t even work notice and the decision is immediate. I am unemployed.

I have just been tweaking my Timeline on FB and have now sent it live. This reminds me a little of when MySpace allowed you to change the look of your profile page just ‘because’!

I'm not a big fan on the Timeline on FB. It gets confusing sometimes because it doesn't always update properly or takes forever (it seems) to adjust to the newer posts and updates.



Oh well *shrugs*.
