The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Ok, So the new Laurell Hamilton book Danse Macabre came out a week ago. I ofcourse being the nerd that I am, have read it almost twice now.



I love this series. I love the different characters. My favorite has always been Richard and Anita. Tho I think I secretly adore Jean-Claude. Jason is amusing and insightful. I think Id fall in love with him first. He is sarcastic and witty. I dont like so much how she is making Richard into a loon. I get it, he has issues. I get that every one of her character has issues.



I also get the fact shes gotta have sex for the ardeur but cooome on.. every 29 pages?? And how does she get 9 boyfriends? All of them (cept Richard, who is the one I like the most, so I dont even get to read the steamy scenes with them cuz there arent any cuz they hate each other most of the time now) is ok with it.



Anyways. Im tired of the drama bullshit. I started the books because it was a little bit of drama and crime and twists and turns. Her fucking 10 guys a book isnt my idea of 'great fiction'. Its sadly turning into the romance novels just with vampires and lycothropes.



so I hope it doesnt stay a slap and tickle book series.
