Today, a friend of mine's little girl passed away. "Princess" Leah was born Feb. 17, 2011 and passed away this morning at 7 am, held by mommy and daddy. She fought a hard fight, having been born with a disease that has no cure. After spending most of her 2 years in a hospital, she got to come home, never spoke, smiled a few times. She has brought over 3 million people together all over the world, opened people's eyes.



Leah was an angel sent to unite people. She did just that, no matter what race or language, she had "angels". Today, she became an angel and is no longer in this realm, but those that she touched will always remember her.



A family, that wasn't blood, didn't know each other personally all flocked to see this child, talk to her, and now tears are shed over the angel that never got to really live. She left behind a big brother, a father, a mother and her puppy. She got to hold her puppy 2 times before she passed, due to a severe infection she could no longer fight. Mitochondrial disease took an angel today, but opened many eyes.



Leah, you will be missed. You brought so many star wars nerds and others together. Due to your plight a disease that kills so many children was brought to light.
