In a field full of roses,

bathed in luminous moonlight

My love and I laid,

under stars in the night.

Surrounded by thorns,

not so bitter but pale,

their touch a soft torture,

like a calm windy gale.

"Sweet Nothing", I called him,

just a whisper he hears.

"Die a sweet little death, to appease you mine ears."

"Sweet Mistress, my angel, from dreams you have come."

Little deaths he did give me,

and two souls became one.

Two hearts having blended,

under moon strong as sun.

Sing

trudge over

smooth skye

soar please

with the moon

and her sweet friend

symphony

as always

eat at the moment of lust.

Crescent Dreaming

23:47 Oct 11 2006
Times Read: 811

Condusive to breaking,

flooding,

the levee of impassability.

Chartreuse coloured memories,

mossy sweetness forever,

tugging at the river of the heart.

Juking on the corner,

begging for the future,

immersed in humid past,

petticoats of home less-ness,

blending in to the Hiding Out,

at home "quartered-out"

in knee high history.

Sitting with some Sugar Daddy

crescetn dreaming.

written in nola '97 recited at a bar on open mike nite
