All-in-all...

After my Father's passing and, two spells in hospital for malnutrition, I have slowly had to find s better way of living; with more life lessons in a few months, than I've encountered throughout my life.

Anyway... all of that being said...

Friend Lucy just left. She took me to B&M in Bromborough to get ant powder, as I'd some ant and flying ants, in the backroom.

I'd been mortified when I'd found them on the outside sill. I couldn't think of a time when we had them inside the house, while my folks were alive.

I had noticed the ants, as Lucie had agreed to assist me with the printer, which is where the printer resides, so we'd gone through to the backroom and, I'd then noticed the ants.

Well, we had got what I'd wanted, as well as several cans, the idea of each one, tickling my tastebuds, in anticipation.

Having returned home, Lucie had helped me again, by showing me how to remove the the input tray to the washing-machine, prior to clean it, as she had proceeded to it, for me.

Then, as I'd seen her out of the front door, I'd got my hug, prior to her saying to me, 'It was good to see you looking good.'

Considering how hard I've worked in the last few weeks, since leaving hospital, I've actually put a little weight on. I have a reason for putting the effort in, which is a really simple one, I do not want to go back into the hospital for malnutrition, again.

After doing some typing, I went to the backroom to check on the ants, which were noticeable through their absence. On the way out, I checked on the printer, to see how the install was working.

The screen display Had said the inks cannot be used until I have enrolled with hpinstantink, which I know I can't do, as they no longer accept debit cards.
'Now, that is irksome,' I'd muttered, as I'd left the room and looked back to my printer, musing as to how much the cost of a full set of new inks will be.

Tony was great on the Tuesday: went above and beyond. We saw the 'new' lawyer.
At the end of a 'long' interview I felt more positive than I have for months.
I had slept well and ate, successfully.

I wish I'd known what I know now, I'd have not obsessed as I did. My gut reaction may have been 'negative', but it had been accurate and, something I should have listened to, at the time. Recent lessons have made me aware of all this, thankfully at last.

Weeks ago I learned my phone would not ring out, so sought assistance. One support user offered me new kit, to rectify my need. Then come Saturday, another support user told me it had not been needed, after almost an hour of talking.

Well it played out. I ended up with a long phone-call with someone who actually tried to listen. I knew it was the phone at issue, yet till today and the arrival of useless kit I found myself being way too tolerant of irrelevant 'advice'.
I had finished the phonecall, feeling more than a tad frustrated, that the new phone they promise me rings out.

The story of the phone continued for almost a week, with BT Support staff giving me both negative and positive advice.

I had been asked about a recipe for scones and, couldn't find mine: so I'd written to her, 'l'll type out Mum's, for you.'
Thinking of my Mother, reminded me of the story of the day I met my Mother and Father. I had reached out to her at five weeks old, which is when she decided I would be hers.

The curtains were closed and, it was raining. These are reasons for me to be calm. Yet, I'd been waiting on the post, again. For BT kit, I'd thought had been sent a week ago, yet through the tracking app, I see it was sent on Wednesday.

And, while I waited I read my email. One was from the solicitor. Judging from what he wrote in his initial email, the caveat is off and Ian's team are asking all sorts of questions and, my position as executor is being sought, as well as photo's of the antiques. I'm not allowed anymore to drink today: probably a good thing.

Come the weekend the new phone arrived, when I'd understood it would be delivered on the Monday. But, feeling panicked at its difference from the phone it was replacing, I had phoned for assistance.

As it happens I'd followed through with the new install, following the instructions Kayo had provided. So at the end of it all, I've ended up with two working phone's, one with a cable and one wireless.

If I were to say halo nightfall is produced by Scott Free, would you laugh loudly? I had.
Scott Free Productions!?!
Scott Free was a character created by jack kirby, when he created his new gods for DC.
And, so few gen z will know that...

Richie called on a blue-sky day, to help with my garden and the weather became changeable, promising showers.

He even brought me a steak and kidney pie, for lunch  [or my evening meal in my case].

During a cup of tea, we realized the suggested rain would not be forthcoming, so he went back out to work.

Shortly after, he returned saying, "I've got to go, I've got my brother's keys on me..." That had got a chuckle out of me...

There's now a real ale bar in Bromborough village. But the one down at the ferry is still good, after all these years.

The new beer shop is across from my building society, so when he goes to the bookie, after dropping me off, I'll go there, before seeking him out at whichever bookies the car is parked near to. It's generally the correct assumption. When I was stronger I went there a few times. But, for the scenery alone, The Tap can't be beat, with its view of the river and Liverpool over the way.

I even used the place as an excuse for physiotherapy, walking across the road, up the step, ignoring the railing and, leaving my stick in the car. Opening the doors, I'd recalled my many visits to the bar, over the years.

I'd ordered and thoroughly enjoyed a half pint of the guest ale, before slowly walking to the car, where Tony had been waiting for me, playing on his phone.
He's been good enough to oblige me, with this opportunity a few times.

And, currently my beds a kinda nest for my screwed spine. It has to, to alleviate the pain in my spine, which got real bad, after the lifting injury, in my early twenties. Now, if I stand straight, you can hear joints crack.
It had disturbed the doctor, who did a home visit, for my chest.

Oh aye, I got a dead boss email from Lucie who was calling at mine at three, as she would be in the area, asking me,”Do you want a cheeseburger?”

Well, there had been an offer that could not be ignored, so I had not and typed back an immediate response, without emoticons [I don't understand them].

All-in-all, I do figure I am fortunate, to have those two in my Life.
