the chicken survived...

he stuff with the lawyer is ongoing and, now I'm dealing with a disrespectful doctor, who made a choice not to listen to me, when he rang, after I'd been triaged for a phone consultation. I'd rung for advice and ideally, antibiotics. But, after mentioning I ssmoke, the fellow had been like a man possessed, as he spoke over me several times. I had responded in kind, several times, saying again and again, “I'm glad this is being recorded.”
Friday was a good day, Tony called, I saw to our washing, then waited. Lucie had called and, I'd giggled goodstyle, as I'd told her, “If I had a mobile-phone, I'd put you down as cheese burger lady.” Come the early evening, I'd woken after a reasonable kip, after sleeping well, the night before, which had been the first good nights sleep for four days. Three nights of no-sleeps had gotten to me and I'd started making mistakes. For instance, I went for my dentists appointment, a day early.
Tony called to take me shopping, being sure to return my house keys, on his arrival. We'd gone shopping, doin rather well I'd thought on the walking front, though I still take my stick out with me.
I couldn't go out Saturday, my bed broke & I'd hurt my back, I think the two events are unrelated. Either way, couldn't go shopping with Tony, so he had gone for me. On his second return, I'd stood at the front door, my right hand extended with his phone in my hand an, a smile on my face.
The last time it had happened, my second fiancee Tina and I were doin it doggy-style.
'try explainin that to your Dad.' That'd been fun, fun, fun.
I need to be up early on Tuesday, to provide a blood-test. I have to be there that early, as it's to check on my hormone left levels.
Monday i'd risen late, still feelingno, been sick a lot... acid reflux.
A cyber-attack had prevented my appt., for a bloodtest: irksomeness indeed.
An alternative appt. had been offered and I'd went of course. Funnily enough, I found myself being told I needed another one, [coz of my big red blood cells, I've known of for over thirty odd years perhaps... sarcasm intended],
I posted a responded to on youtube post that had reminded me of an event from my recent past, a piece of my history I've only spoken with a few.
'When I became sick and, had enough money, I stood in a queue, behind a mother and child. Te child reminded me of my own mother.
As I had little to purchase, she had let me go first, which I had & paid for her shopping, under my breath, to the cashier.'
Now, after a morning of NHS frustration [meaning irritating receptionists] I find myself looking to the kitchen table and the zapain, omeprazole, ibrufen etc and muse on my irritatin aches and pains...
[don't get yourself a lifting injury – 'life tip 101']
He had been twenty seven stone and I'd been nearly ten. He'd been having a fit for over seven minutes and, someone needed to 'get in there' to help. I'd run down a carpetted corridor and into the toilet, looking at the scene before me, with a little surprise: even my surprisingly implacable manager was looked frustrated and, explained what was happening.

Pausing, but a moment, I had gone over the top of the cubicle and lifted to fellow to stand, as I'd opened the door. The pain on me had been almost intolerable, but obviously I had.
I had lain the fellow down, supporting his weight with my lower back and left hand.
My spine and left wrist had been destroyed, on that day. The spine is compressed both ends and, separated in the middle.
And that, brings me to this now...
I recall my first spell in hospital in 2024 and, showing off to a nurse, thinking I was still sixteen. I had done as I'd wanted as I'd put my leg round my neck, but paid the price.
It was months ago. But, it is malleable.
sheesh.
No-one should be able to say malleable and spine in the same sentence.
anywho.
over weeks it straightened out.
so, currently, i'm generally okay.
but, yes... i do have to be careful, walking on black ice, or frosty paving, or...
i'll say this though.
My spine got effed up again badly that day; but, the chicken, for me dad's tea had survived.
