Well, I had my booster shot and, unlike the first time I had the vaccine there had been social distancing. In fact, some of the staff there were from out local practice, which I'd learned when it had transpired that the woman doing me was a sister from our surgery.
Speaking of our surgery, I went to see my Doctor for a medical review.
I hadn't seen her for quite awhile and, there'd been quite a lot for us to talk about.
“So how you?” She'd asked at one point.
“Fine,” I'd replied, then said; “Do you know what it's an acronym for?”
“No,” she replied.
“Feeling Inadequate Needs Encouragement.”
She's smiled at that.
Then as I'd made to leave she had said to me, “If needed remember me for N E.”
I'd grinned at that.
I did go to the dentist and had my wobbly teeth out, then been presented with my cosmetic lower set, to wear once the gum was healed.
Then days later I'd been tidying my room and found to my chagrin that I'd lost my teeth. Little by little I'd sussed out what I'd done: I'd thrown them out with medical waste and then put into the green bin, which got emptied on Monday.
Currently I sound like Mickey Mouse, having lost my voice a day or so ago.
Other than the normally bad chest and this sore throat, I feel fine. I'm just more than a tad frustrated, as I don't like feeling low, like this.
But, I'm fine...
