Yes, I watched the game yesterday. And eventhough the Saints lost, they have come so far and what they did was nothing short of amazing.



The Bears fans however reminded me of the Eagles fans. The Eagles fans booed Santa for goodness sake. And they are just mean.



The Bears won. The fans knew that the team was going to the Super Bowl. I understand a little heckling towards the losing team.



However, one Bears fan asks someone from New Orleans if they live there....The New Orleans man replied Yes, I got 11 feet of water in my house and the Bears fan replies with (and I'm quoting here) "Too bad you didn't drown"



There is something wrong with this picture. And that wasn't an isolated incident either.



People make me sick.



I hope the Bears get there asses WHOOPED!!

I finally got to cleaning out my daughter's room. It had become the catch-all room since the hurricane and the kids have been in FL.



As I was cleaning it out, the kids called me and I had a great idea. I decided to paint the kids' room.



So I asked Melissa what color she wanted her room painted. "Sky blue with clouds Mommy" is the answer I got. And when she gets home, she wants to paint a rainbow herself. LOL



And then I asked Alex what color he wanted his room painted. "Dark green with yellow flames" was the answer I got . ROFLMAO



I can only draw stick figures.....I'm going to have a hell of a time making flames. heheh



So this evening, I started to paint Melissa's room. I'm almost half done. I'm really proud of myself because I AM VERY tired 99% of the time.



Of course when I talked to the kids tonight, Alex was upset that I hadn't done his room yet. He asked me when I would do his room. When I told him within the next couple of weeks, he got upset. He wants it done now! LOLOL



And then I took a picture with my camera and sent it to my mom's phone to show Melissa. She loved the color.



So I finish up her room tomorrow (I hope, keeping my fingers crossed) and then I start removing the border in Alex's room. And maybe on the weekend, I will go to Home Depot and get some Dark Green paint.



The living room is my next project after Alex's room. That's going to be one hell of a doozy. :-)

Well the Saints lost to Chicago. I was really surprised actually. I hoped they would go all the way to the Super Bowl. Damn shame.

Really blows the big one.



I was really nervous, ok, not nervous...I was scared shitless about having the procedure done. I knew they wouldn't be putting me out for it, only sedating me. The combination of drugs was also supposed to give me amnesia as well so I remembered nothing.



FUCKING HA!



They gave me the drugs and with in seconds I felt horribly drunk and I fell asleep. No biggie, right?



WRONG!!!



I woke up in the middle of the procedure with the tube down my throat.



The only think I will say about that is I'm glad I wasn't allowed to eat after midnight.



I was hysterical. They had to hold me down and then give me more medecine.



Oh yeah....and I remember 99% of it. Amnesia my ass.





I had to get an abdominal scan as well before I had the endoscopy. And lucky me got a girl who got to practice on me.



She got goop ALL OVER MY CLOTHES. And she shoved the transducer into my ribs and bruised me.





Oh what a lovely day. And to TOP IT ALLLLLLLLLL OFF, I have gallstones.



So I get to have a HIDA-Scan on Tuesday. This is where they shoot radioactive shit into my veins and I have to lay still for 2 hours while they take pictures of my gallbladder to see if it's functioning or not.



If not, they will probably take it out.....yet another surgery. *sigh*



Some day....one day.... I will feel better. And that's what keeps me going.

I haven't written in here for quite awhile.....so here is an update.



I have been seeing this one Endocrinologist for almost a year. My thyroid (TSH) levels have been out of control for almost 3 years now and it's not getting better.



Last August, for literally 1 week, I felt fantastic. So I got my levels checked to see what they should be....kind of something to go by. The level was .80.



In October I got my levels checked and they were 5.6. Not Good. So the doctor switched me to a completely different medication.



In December I got my levels checked and they were at 7.90. EVEN WORSE.



I'm switching doctors.



On top of everything, I will be doing an Endoscopy and abdominal ultrasound in the morning due to acid reflux. The Gastroenterologist thinks it may be my Gallbladder. Which could be caused by my high cholesterol, which IS caused by my complete hypothyroidism. Also, I may have sleep apnea which would be due to my hypothyroidism. Sleep study next month.



And to top it all off, I went to a Navy Orhtopedic surgeon who told me that all of my joint problems weren't an orthopedic problem, but a rheumatological problem.



So, they sent me to a Rheumatologist, who took 6 vials of blood and told me that he thinks my problems are solely due to my hypothyroidism.



(Meanwhile the Endocrinologist thinks its Rheumatological problems too...sheesh)



So the Navy doctors sent me to a Neurologist who is pretty damn sure that I have Osteo-artheritis. The neurologist is sending me to a better rheumatologist who will probably help me.



Lordy, I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired!!! LOL
