So today I was having a rather crappy day. I have been in a lot of pain lately and just feeling overall icky. Today just was one of those days.
I was getting ready to run something on Dofus to take my mind off everything and decided to check my facebook real fast.
I instantly got a smile.
My boyfriend left me a message on there before he went to work.
"I love you ♥"
That was it and I was smiling. It was nice to read that. As simple as it was, I enjoyed it.
So as most of my normal readers know, I frequently play an MMO.
Well because I play this game I tend to get to interact with many people from overseas. This morning I spent a few hours online speaking with a guildie on skype.
After I got past the "swoon british accent" feeling I had, we had a nice convo. Got to talking about the different slang that we use.
I never realized that cul-de-sac is actually british slang. I have always used it never knowing the difference.
That also kinda reminds me of how I picked up on using the words ugh and root.
I am developing quite the vernacular.
It's nice because I use slang from different parts of the world so I feel kinda spiffy. (Which I totally heard being said by the Brits in my guild!)
I don't know, it's fun learning the different words.
