So, I was waiting to journal about this one....
Today at work SUCKED.
Not only was it fight after fight.....
I get back inside after lunch sweating and gross to find out that someone from the state was there to review everyone in the special education department.
Even aides.
No warning. Nothing. Just "Hey, my name is so and so. I'm here to review the special education team to see if you are putting our money to use."
Well, that wasn't what she said. But that was pretty much the jist of it.
It sucked.
For about an hour of my life, I wanted to blow my brains out with technical details about mental health issues, learning disabilities, and IEPs.
Ugh.
I'm done ranting. Tomorrow will be better!
That was one awkward shower....
And from now on, I will not wait 4 months to shave my legs. No matter how cold it is outside.
It all started with me wanting to get all nice and ready for our weekend....
So I decided to shave my legs and such. I haven't done so since about December because of how cold it was outside.
I figured that my razor would suffice. I do shave other things every day so I have a decent razor.
I get started...and after 2 swipes. The razor clogs. And I can't get it unclogged.
Fine. I'll grab Sean's awesome man razor.
It was working great until I got to the second leg.
Then it did the same thing. >.>
So here I am, hopping around the bathroom with shaving gel running down my legs and conditioner running out of my hair as I try to get the replacement blade.
As I get back in the shower, I knock everything down. So I put the blade on the shelf thinking it would be ok while I pick up all the bottles.
I bumped it with my butt and it went down the drain.
I repeated the hop through the bathroom.
I finally get situated and start on the second leg and the hot water ran out.
Next time I'm just waxing. :(

LOL!
I have at least one day like this a week...
Murphy's Law at its finest!
After 4 months of not shaving... nair is your friend. LOL
Holy wookie, 4 months?!!! O.O
Nair is a good alternative to shaving, if you waited that long. I have had to use Nair myself. Just don't leave it on too long and bam! Smexy legs.
♥
Well!
It slipped my mind as to what today was...until I saw facebook and the video that showtime posted for Weeds...
Well Weeds will be back on June 27th.
Makes me happy. :D
Yayness!
Ok. Finally got a message from the artist today.
She finished the commission and stated I will pay her the price we agreed on prior.
I saw the final piece and I'm amazed.
This is the one she sent me, I'll get the full sized image and tube tomorrow to work with. :D

Reading a journal and something caught my eye.
Specifically about a diet.
Recently food companies have started to put the label "Gluten Free" on items that don't contain gluten. (yay!)
But now apparently diets are springing up that state that cutting gluten out will help you lose weight.
Gluten is NOT bad for you.
Let me rephrase that. Gluten is not bad for you unless you have Celiac disease. Should you have that issue, then by all means, avoid that shit like the plague. I know how you have to live. My mother has it. Over time I developed a way of cooking so that my mother could eat my food.
Now, if you say you are cutting out gluten to help cut carbs, let me enlighten you.
People who have to cut that out of their life to continue to live normally tend to develop diabetes later in life because of the sugar content in the foods that are made specifically gluten free (breads/macaroni mainly).
Not to mention the substitute food is fucking disgusting and expensive. I've eaten it. My mother eats it. Only recently has it gotten slightly affordable and a bit tastier. Most of the bread is still gross though.
So. Unless your LIFE depends on cutting that out of your diet, you should continue to eat it and just simply cut back on carbs. Gluten is not some evil additive that causes weight gain. It's a natural and the only reason the words "Gluten Free" appear on foods is so that those that can't have it know they can eat the food without going to the hospital.
Going on a gluten free diet may make you feel better and lose weight, but that isn't because you are cutting out gluten. That is because you are cutting out carbs.
And if you are dead serious about cutting out gluten. Don't lick stamps or take certain medications. Or have anything with soy sauce. Or MSG.
:)
I'm getting frustrated with this artist I ordered a commission from.
She is a sweet person, but it's getting rather frustrating.
I requested it back in February and was told I'd have it sometime during March. She then told me that she had something come up with work and asked if I was ok with waiting until about the middle of April.
I was ok with waiting. I figured it didn't bother me too much and I would have more cash to pay for it without much issue.
Well early last week I got the sketch for it. I was happy. She told me that I would see the colored version by Saturday so that I could request any changes or whatnot.
It is Monday and I haven't seen anything.
The part that bugs me is that she reopened commissions on her website stating she is free to do them again. Yet I don't have mine done. The kicker? She raised the price on them. And then deleted the price of prior commissions.
What do I do? Do I email her and ask what is going on? Do I ask her if I have to pay the new price? I hope this isn't the case since I've had to wait almost 3 months at this rate and it's now 40 dollars more.
This isn't some random artist on dA either. This is a professional artist that I really like. I buy her stuff all the time and I'm seriously considering not doing so now.
I've dealt with other artists on a fan forum for Dofus and they've been more professional. :/
Where the rest of the country is having thunderstorms and crap.
We have a fricken SNOWSTORM.
In April.
Fucking snow. A week before fucking Easter.
More fucking snow. The weekend I made plans to start potting my fucking plants. Something I can't do inside. 8 inches of white crap has fallen since it started yesterday evening.
And Sean's parents were like "oh, it's going to miss us or we might only get an inch or so"
Our town has gotten the worst of this crap. All the others have gotten around 3 inches. -.-
I'm angry about this for the record. We had almost 70 degree weather for a couple of weeks. The ground was GREEN.
Wanted to share this.
Today has been the first day in 8 months that I've been able to put my hair up in a ponytail.
I've been trying the past couple of months since it's getting warmer and we will be 4-wheeling soon.
I am happy. It's at a length I like. Short enough to be easy to handle, but long enough to put up so I can function at work and play. :D
I have a few pieces that won't fit in there, but most is in. I'm happy enough.
Went grocery shopping tonight. Actually stuck to the list for once and it worked out better.
Cutting out the junk made for a faster trip and less expensive.
Also went to see Hop. Was a cute little movie.
Now I'm wishing I got some candy though. I really am wanting some. Might send the other half for some. lol
*sips on chocolate milk*
I have my thoughts on other things around here. Most I'm keeping to myself. It's pointless really. I've said it before.
This morning I woke up and was browsing Misfits. I remembered it was April 1st and I knew that meant a new Misfit of the Month. So I figured I'd head over and see who is getting spoiled so I could toss some tags that way.

Huggies
My jaw dropped. I've been a member there for over 3 years and have never had that honor. Under my name is this little title that says "Misfit of the Month" which is so cute.
Made waking up much better. By the way. I slept amazing. First time in a while I did. Very little coughing for a while.
I have coughed twice this morning. Nothing too deep and nothing that hurt. Just shallow stuff. My chest doesn't hurt and I feel better. Sean also ran the vaporizer. So I think that helped my case. He runs that thing a lot. lol
So after my trip to the hospital tonight...I figured I should do something crazy!
I bought a bathing suit. I haven't got myself one of those in years. Normally I just wear an old bra under a dark shirt and swimming trunks.
Oh. Back track right? Hospital. Yeah.
I was coughing up blood. I called my Mom. I was like "Hey, do I call the doctor or go to the ER if I'm coughing up blood."
So to the ER I went. The last 4 times I went there for coughing/breathing issues they told me there wasn't anything wrong after just listening to me breathe.
Today they did blood work and chest x-rays. Apparently there is a small mass they saw. And my white blood cell count is slightly elevated.
Hey! I was right. There is SOMETHING FUCKING WRONG.
They gave me something to help the cough and hopefully break up the mass. :/
They think it's an infection of sorts.
Ugh.
But bathing suit. It's pink and black checkered. And two pieced. And a tankini. Sean likes it.
It's a bathing suit. So I hate it by nature.
And I got jeans. Woo?
Just stress. Work didn't help. Things I can't and won't discuss here. :/
