I go to the ren faire in Huntersville, North Carolina every year. Was wondering if anyone would want to possibly meet up?

I go the first week it is open because it is 2 people for $20 instead of $20 a person. Usually it is the first week of October. Information is here http://www.faires.com/EventRecord.php?Id=14

Soon as they release a full date for the year I will update. I go in full costume, but if you would like to go and do not wish to dress up that is fine. Be fun to walk the grounds, drink some mead, and such.


The year for the faire is based on the 1500s, they are child friendly, and once you pay the door fee, unless you get food or souvenirs the rest of it is free. So, figure its a few months away, be good to see who would be interested.

I am going to have to check that out. That is not too far from me.

There is also anther faire in NC, held in Reilgh. It is just too far for me to drive. The one in huntersville is only about a 3 hour drive for me.

Been there before and enjoyed it, Think I may go in regalia this year as a buccaneer :)

That is only about 4 hours from me. I could go in full garb.

We will be going to this Tomorrow, will let you know the outcome. The last one I have been to was in Maryland and I have to say it was actually pretty good :)

Awesome festival. Very big with lots to see and do but the prices in the shops was kinda outrageous..

Since the link in the thread post show Nov 18th as the closing date- even tho that is for 2012 year - taking that this is closed?
