Just wanted to let all of our friends know....

Our wonderful Zaida Browne of Allgenre (Gothic Cruise Gal) was admitted into the hospital on Tuesday and had to have surgury yesterday. They needed to remove her gallblader because of 3 very large gallstones that were about the size of marbles. They were completely blocking the bile tube and she was in a huge amount of pain. This was also the cause of alot of her chest attacks that we all had thought were stress related or heart related.

The surgury went well though and she is recouperating wonderfully on some good pain killers... :) The doctors have not yet given us a projected date that they will be releaseing her. I think they are waiting on some of the tissue samples to come back. And giving her a chance to heal.

The doctors have assured me that she will be up to par by the time our Bad Ass Boat leaves for our journey on the Gothic Cruise, so no worries about any of that!!

So, if everyone would give her a little wish of get well, I know she would just love that....

Real Quick Update::

Looks like she will need to have another surgury tomorrow. They did another test and it seems that during the first surgury, they missed one of the stones that was lodged in the bile tube. Ugh!!

Should be a quick one though. And we are looking at about Saturday for her to be able to come home.

Once she's out I recommend a strict diet of cigarettes and bourbon!

(I kid, quit smoking and eat only healthy so you can drink like a fish on the cruise......)

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the well wishes and thoughts. Thank you to the Mckees for the flowers I got in hospital. It was very much appreciated.

They left a stint in my bile tube so it could drain. In 2 weeks I go back in to have it removed during a small 1 hour procedure. I am feeling better, just some serious aches from the air they pushed into my body during surgery. Evidently, it had affected my liver but NO permanent damage.

I am really looking forward to the cruise. And I feel really safe since we have about 4 Nurses in our group onboard.

I wont be able to go riding on the beach in st maarten though. It will be too soon after the next procedure. but thats fine.. I still get to go and hang out with all you kick ass people!

Dude, a turtle walks faster then what i can walk at the moment. They made 5 incisions into my stomach.. my stomach looks like freddy krueger tried to peek out!

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Please take care of yourself. Our bodies are the only thing connecting us to this universe and each other.

So by the 53rd annual goth cruise we are going to have to open events like deck wheelchair races and the "most gothed out walker" contest anyway... so no bloody use accelerating that!

For real... please let those tissues heal and don't stress out too much...

I am resting. and will rest after the next procedure.. and rest some more on the cruise.

However, this does explain why after 1 year of working out, I wasnt losing weight. Now it should come off better.
