DO NOT PRINT YOUR ELECTRONIC TICKETS!
Complete ONLY your Funpass online at www.carnival.com - this IS your boarding pass. This must be filled out by September 1st 2008. Do NOT go beyond printing your Funpass.
In August, Carnival will send me your printed cruise tickets. I need to add your ONBOARD Gothic Itinerary to the tickets to insurance everyone gets them. I will also post the final onboard itinerary here so you can print it out.
Also, if anyone needs extra luggage tags, please email me prior to July 14th that you need them. On Average, Carnival sends out 4 Luggage tags per booking. These will be in your printed cruise tickets.
If you are attending the precruise party, you will receive your cruise tickets and wristband at the party. (were using plastic ones this year to avoid loss!).
If you are not attending the precruise party, your tickets will be mailed to you. You will need to get with me at the autograph session or 1st deck party to get your wristband. Both of these events will be on the first day of the cruise.
Thanks!
I remember it's not the most intuitive process.
Something I did and I recommend is to make a copy of all your important documents, and stash 'em in both your carryons and at least one other piece of luggage.
That way (heaven forbid) if something happened to any item you're still covered.
Plus I'm a space case.
Years ago I went to DMV just to get an extra copy of my license for clubs and vacations.
^^^ Thats the greatest idea ive heard in my entire life :)
I have 2 myself! it seems i misplace one from time to time...lol
All ya gotta do is say ya lost the first and the second one is a duplicate both are identical even when scanned:)
Technically you're not supposed to. Just be sure to not keep the two together. This keeps officers from noticing that you have two.
What if you have a split personality? Should I keep one in the trunk? :)
hello! i have a fun pass related question.
this may sound kinda dumb, but when i go to sign into funpass, they ask for a "booking number" and i can't seem to find that on any of my invoices and such.
how do i obtain/where do i find this number?
Your reservation number is the "Supplier ID" number at the top of the box on the right handside - Right above your price and balance due information near the top of the page.
Z
okay!
thanks soooo much for your help with this funpass dealie. got it figured out (finally) and my husband and i are all signed up and printed out.
thanks again!
Few Quick Questions:
If we're booked together with our significant other, we still get our own sign and sail accounts right?
When I get to the contract part I can't really see or read anything. Should I not be doing this in Firefox? It's just a blank box. Should I even bother worrying about it?
Do we really need to include our flight/hotel info or can we just select private transportation.? I believe that's what we did last year but I'm not completely sure.
Thanks!
do not include flight information.
mark "private transportation" for arrival to peir info.
do not use firefox. use internet explorer.
Eveyone gets their own sail and sign card.
what if you don't have a printer to print your funpass out?
Then you need to email your first and last name so I can print it for you, and put it in your tickets.
Most libraries have a printer you can use however.
Z
You could also go to Kinkos and for minimum cost, log onto the internet and print out the Funpass. Some public libraries have that similar set-up as well.
AAAGH!
Phew. printed it.
I hate it when I forget important stuff!
If I put private transportation, will I be allowed to get off the boat sooner than last year? We barely made it to our flight. We were sitting in the buffet area for 3-4 hours. What do you think, Z?
The only way to do early debarktion.. is if you have NO checked baggage. However, what you can do, is go to the pursers desk in the middle of the cruise, and tell them the airline changed your flight times and you need to get off early.
Zaida
Hey Z, just a quick question about the debarkation. I remember that last year they said that they were trying something "new" in letting people taking their own baggage off debark first. Are they still doing that? It seems like that was what really gummed up the works ar debarkation.
Carnival usually lets you take your own luggage off yourself if you want to exit early unless they recently changed
