You know th drill..
We have alot of new people coming to the site.. So if you've booked.. Tell a little about yourself..
In the words of Ronan, I'm the "black sheep" (really the white sheep) of the goth people :) Mainly cause I don't give a damn about wearing black...
So I was the guy in the white board shorts and family guy shirt for most of the cruise... including the concert.
I'm belorussian, but i've lived in the states for 12 years, ten of them in philly. I was surprised not to see anyone i knew from Nocturne on the 2007 cruise, but hopefully there will be more next year :)

Uh. Don't feel like typing any more.
I bid thee peace out!
Okay a little bit about myself. The main thing that seems to stand out about me when other meet me is that I have four kids. but at the same time Tony and I are caring for his mother andbrother so its more like I have FIVE kids.
I was proposed to on the 2007 cruise and will be married in june of 2009 using that cruise as our honey moon. Ummmmm other then that.... Music usually can be found wherever we are. As an Ipod andradio are always on us. Currently I do hair and work at a independant living facility but I hope one day to teach literature and oral communications, should I ever find the time to return to school and get my bachlors.
OH Also currently writing a book, ::crosses her fingers:: hoping by christmas to actually be an author.. with a great spell check system.
Thats all for now, LATAS
K, I'll make a feeble attempt to keep it going:
I'm Celeste otherwise known as Mama C or g/f of GodKingXerxes ;p
I reside in NYC an avid VNV fan now more than eva!
I work in the music industry and dj independantly primarily within the rave scene but am starting to cross over into the industrial scene. I've got a new mix recorded if anyone would like to check it out go here:

scroll down to miscallenous - look for me - malicious mischief and BAM!
no i'm not (really) trying to squeeze in shameless self promo - i really think some of you might enjoy it!
we've already met so many amazing people on the 2007 cruise and absolutely cannot wait to meet MORE!
i know they don't really post in here but i'd like to add a super special kudos to tami and chris from chicago who made our gig a couple weeks ago enjoyable - those kidz rawk and that would kick ass if fragmentation (chris's band) played on the goth cruise someday...
well that's it for now
pz and x's and o's!
C
we are the winners of last years raffle! So yes dreams do come true!!!!
You know you'll see Bruce and Tracy there....
I am Bob, she is Mel.
We were the crazy bald and blond that went on the 2007 cruise.
I dig industrial in a big way, and I'll dance to some Goth and other neat tunes.
We had a HUGE BLAST on the last cruise are are looking forward to hanging out with our friends we made as well as any new friends we will be making.
My name is Corolla (hardk0re). I was at the 2007 Gothic Cruise with my ex-husband, Shane. We were typically on the dance floor as we are hard to keep away from it.
I am an Animal Control Officer and also actively involved in disaster animal response. For example, I spent 9 months in New Orleans, Louisiana (arrived there a week after Hurricane Katrina) and assisted with boat search and rescue, field search and rescue, body count and humane animal trapping. I just finished assisting and evacuating people and animals in response to the Santiago Fire and Canyon Fire in Orange County, California. Now I am preparing to head to Tabasco, Mexico to assist with rescue for humans and animals soon and just waiting for logistics and assessments to determine if we are deploying and if we are setting up a triage shelter. Because of the difficult conditions, the compromised security, and the extremely limited resources, we need to assess if we would be productive as responders or if we would hinder the system and become victims.
Music: I'm more of a rivethead than anything else. I enjoy synthpop, EBM and industrial. A few gothic songs if I'm in the mood, but I typically am more angry than melancholy. **STOMP** I love VNV Nation, Rotersand, Covenant, De/Vision, Skinny Puppy, Frontline Assembly, Combichrist, Assemblage 23, Colony 5, Das Ich, Imperative Reaction, Mesh, NamNamBulu, Project Pitchfork, XPQ-21, and Suicide Commando.

Z,
It might be worth sending an e-mail to those booked to remind them that then need to be monitoring the Rave.
I know that was missed by me last year, and it hurt!
well, I've put it on all invoices and websites.. and have verbaly told everyone.
I dont think people are realising that I post the updates here first.
Hey, I've been monitoring the Rave even before I new I was going. lol
Erik and I aren't big fans of writing about ourselves but we will give it a swing w/ you. You all made us feel very welcome and we had the most amazing time in 07.
We graduated from college together and both work in IT. That is where we met. Erik is the one who intro-ed me to VNV and I’ve been insane about them ever since. It takes a brave person to write with such honesty about how they feel and then share it with the world. (Thank you, Ronan) We like a crazy broad range of music and VNV is up at the top.
We met Ronan in Portland Oregon after a show and we talked for hours. He made such a great impression on us (and our friend Summer) that nite that when we found out that they were going to be on a cruise, we couldn’t resist.
Florida was so perfect that we are looking at moving there in 09.
We can't wait to see you all and meet the noobs this year. I feel like jumping up and down like a five year old every time I think about it. LOL
Thank you all for being so incredible!
Kelli n Erik
Octobers a long way away & my life changes daily...but chances are high that I'll be going this year! wanna know more about me visit my profile or www.myspace.com/madmerchandise Hope to see ya'll there!
Christian and I will also be attending again this year, we had such a fabulous time on the last cruise and have even hung out with a few cruise peeps off ship. We're a super stompy couple that loves harsh EBM/power noise (well, I love powernoise...not so sure about my other half, LOL)
I am still plowing through grad school doing criminal justice. We're hoping to be done by the end of the year so we can move back to Seattle-our first love. (we're currently stuck in San Diego, CA)
Christian works as a cashier at a grocery store and trains part time as a MMA fighter. WE LOVE UFC!!
Christian and a few MMA peeps are gonna grab gear and train on the ship so if you want to be part of the action, contact us! :)
Me? I'll be practicing my arm curls at a nearby bar taking advantage of all the free booze we'll be getting!! LOL!!
But yeah, can't wait to see yall again!!
Ok well my name is Alena, (Widow) I'm from NJ and I work in theatre. I am a lighting designer/technician so I get to travel a lot to go on different gigs. I also work in the city as pro domme :) (hence the mistress). I love it, its a big part of me, so I'm not going to hide it.
I respond more to Widow then my birth name because I hate it when people can't say it right.
Traveling with me is my friend Leah, she doesn't have an account here so I'll introduce her. She is 27, a psych professor at hunter college in the city and was the one who re ignited my gothic roots. Not sure if she'll be using her scene name but in any case it would be Brooke.
We found out about this cruise through Combichrit's myspace and as soon as I saw it I knew we were going.
Can't wait to meet new people. Sucks that its so far away but I'm gald we made it in time to book.
