Are you knew to Vampirerave (VR)? Got here from a Gothic Cruise Weblink from another site? Please read on.

1. Please get familiar with the Main Menu Bar on the left. The "Status System" will tell you where you can post, where you cant, what levels are, the like. This is extremely important.

If you are new.. your account will be deleted if you are inactive for 90 days. so you will have to get a new account.

Premium members do not have to worry about this. However, All of the gothic cruise updates are posted here to VR 1st. Even before the website.


2. As level 1 - this is the only place on VR that you can post, as part of Vampirerave.com's sponsorship of the Annual Gothic Cruise and Masquerade Ball.


3. Please take the time to look at the profiles to those those that are attending the cruise. If you are attending the cruise, add them to your friends list and rate their profiles. This gives you a chance to interact with your fellow cruisers before you even leave. (and it can help you move up the system).

You will find ALOT of help under the VR Main Menu, including Editorial reviews. From VR Navigation, profiles, to articles. Plus who to contact for specific issues (like an Acolyte)

Take a few minutes to explore the links on your left, and you will have a much better time.

Please.. if you are posting in the Gothic Cruise Forum, take the time to add a few lines to your profile. Even if just to say your going, or planning on going on the cruise.

If you are anything like me you will be drawn into the addiction that is VR.

I think the msot important part is to stay at least somewhat active on VR by logging on and rating now and then. It gets confusing when people start a profile, get booted for innactivity, start another profile, get booted again..... It makes it hard to keep track of who is who!

If anyone has any questions about VR, how it works, etc please feel free to message me. If you enter a "help" question I may just be the one to answer it anyway.

Don't we all get premium memberships for signing up? How and when does that work?

Premium memberships will be given out after the July 14th final payment.

If you already have a PM does it just get tacked on to your current membership? And is it one PM per person or per cabin?

The Premium Account gets tacked on to what you already have.

The VR Premium account is 1 per person.
The 1 year Gothic Beauty subscription is 1 per household.

I was wondering the same thing since my husband does not have an account and is not really interested in getting one.

The free premium account isnt transferable. sorry.

When does it become active?

My wife may need some convincing to open her account, so I need to work the logistics out.

July when the final payments come due....

I guess I should have asked, will it start from July, or will it start when she gets around to opening an account?

thank you for the info I have been looking into what has been happening to VR and such lately and this just answers all the question that i had to ask thanks for the good post about this Z it is greatly thankful for it.

for your free account on VR. At the time of your final payment, you will be asked for your VR Name if you have one. I will be coordinating with cancer to get your accounts extended for the year. (you do have the option of a new account if you wish).

If you do not have a VR Account yet.. an Account will be created for you with a temporary password that you will need to change. You will be asked at final payment what VR Name you would like.

We paid up in March, do we still have to wait til July or can we sneak in now?

you still have to wait until July when all the accounts are done.
