Astral Collar

Said to be for protection, connecting you to the person who placed it upon you. Shielding you from anyone trying to hurt or harm you physically, emotionally and spiritually. The person who placed the 'collar' can sense when you're in danger through the link alone. The person wearing the 'collar' can limit how much emotion they want to flow through the link.

I don't know if this applies to vampires, but seems more witch related.

REAL OR FAKE? OR MAYBE SOME IS FACT AND SOME PARTS MADE UP??

Sounds fake and it should be, no one sane and with self respect would want to be collared.

Reminds me of the pathetic bdsm slave culture, If humans like that really want to be slaves to a master, I would be more than happy to sell them to some vicious despot in the middle east. They can then contemplate if their lovely fantasy is everything they imagines it to be.

I'm going to have to call "Manipulative" B.S. on this term. I've never heard of it before. It almost sounds like someone is trying to roleplay with new made up and creative terms for things they don't necessarily understand. Neophytes do this all the time.

What I think is trying to be represented here, is a bond between two people who care for each other and would be protective of either. But there is no "Collar" of protection. Spiritually or otherwise.

The term "Collar" denotes the aspect of "CONTROL". Thereby making the phrase "Astral Collar" a contradiction... is it for "Protection" or manipulative "control"?

Further, a question should be asked... what "mind games" are being played where this term is being used?

Well said SS.
If one wants protection, a collar is not needed or at all necessary for such a task.

If anything is transferred at all, it is currency i.e bodyguards/bouncers.

Fake. Most of these places or people can be found in a street corner in New Orleans. The idea is to make the believer belief that by using suchof artifact, any bad "Karma" will dissipate.

Funny comment about New Orleans and those "types..." I agree with your post 100%. Been in NOLA 15+ years.

I call fake. I LOL at it protects you physically. I bet it won't stop a bullet. I see things like this as a fad. And who in there right mind would want to wear a collar.

I don't know, Dakotah... some women look damned hot in them, yeah. But I did have a chuckle based on the physical "astral" collar. I was being polite in not mentioning it. I understand what the original poster meant by it.

Slavery or possession is not the same as protection, so I disagree with concept this entirely.

I gotta say: I'm with MxM on this one. I mean, really I agree with all of you, but that whole collar thing ... *shudders* I know it works for some, but not for me.

If it was about protection, couldn't it have been called, like, an astral shield or umbrella or cloak or ... I don't know. Anything but collar. A collar is meant to be tethered to a leash. A leash is meant to control and guide, to hold captive. Nope. No. Nuh uh.

Or, hey, what about an astral anchor? That would make more sense if we were speaking about astral projection. You know, something to tie you to a place of safety so that if there's the chance of harm, you could come back. I mean, that's a thing, right?

Now I gotta go do research ...

Yeah, neither astral collar nor astral anchor is a thing, really. An astral collar is merely a piece of jewelry. Astral Anchor ... is a YouTuber. lol

But I am thinking that if someone was going to do astral projection, an anchor might be a tool they would use. I don't do astral projection, so I don't know. I've just seen things in movies and read things in books. That's the extent of my knowledge.
