Who is your favorite super hero or villain ?, and how do you feel about the constant changes, remakes and parallel universe versions of that character?

Favorite superhero: Superman (always has been, always will be).

Favorite villain: Negan (comic book version) from The Walking Dead.

I love when they make alternate versions of Superman. In one 'Elseworlds' tale, Superman landed in Gotham and became Batman, with all the powers of Superman. It was cool.

Negan, I love the character. He's absolutely ruthless without being insane. But, he's also hilarious. A very likeable villain.

Hero: Deadpool. Because he's mostly just a regular guy.

Villain: Harley Quinn. She may be insane, but the woman knows unconditional love. I mean seriously, her boyfriend POISONS CHILDREN and she still loves him.
What do I think of her many forms? Well, I wish the most current had been a little more accurate to maybe.....the comic version with the red and black hair. Or just the jester.

I have to say this : I am extremely disappointed by the use of the grill that the joker wears in suicide squad. Wtf?
So stupid.

But anyway.........There you have it, Deadpool and Harley.

I can only go from the movies but the best hero was the Joker, a true nihilist who understood the world and how it worked. Best villian was Batman who likes to spy on people using their phones, and as is vigilante who frequently breaks the law.

No. Just no.
Ok, the joker in comics, at one point poisons a room full of children with cotton candy that he's laced. But let's overlook that for a moment.
When Heath Ledger played him, they used an idea from the comics and rained shards of poison glass on everyone after that massive explosion.
So unless you think it's ok to murder innocent people and CHILDREN, The Joker is NOT a hero.

Yes, I do. All life is equal and so can be equally killed, discrimination is poor form. Don't like it? tough, I am not here to coddle people. Not all animals are little goody two shoes.

I don't care what the Joker does in books. I was talking about the movie and regardless, he is still the best "hero" in it. Some people just don't understand that villains are better. Joker was my favorite "hero" in that movie and that's that.

That doesn't make him a hero, that makes you an idiot with questionable morals and neandethollic thought processes.

Actually dearie... you're the idiot for taking what I said way too literally. Sure I meant the whole being fine with innocents getting murdered thing but calling Joker a hero? lol I was purposely giving an inverted view hence the quotation marks.

Good old Joker is a hero from my point of view and loose morals? tut tut, I don't have any.
This site is open to all sorts of psychopaths and more interesting folk you know. You would think people on this site would know me enough by now but they are always still surprised when I come out with something that goes against their petty morals, perhaps they should stay home with their mother. Any moral outrage is beneath me, so save it.

Let's see...ah, the Comedian from The Watchmen, now he was a "hero". Burning people alive for america.

Oh, I'm sorry, you're a psychopath, how rude of me.
Perhaps someone who thinks it's ok to hurt children should have been raised by a better mother and taught compassion, hmmmm? Besides which, my mother's dead, thanks for the reminder asshole.

How about everyone stop insulting people and get back on the topic of the threads? Bickering is useless

Favorite Villain like Zombie mentioned above is definitely Negan. Quite smashing! (pun intended)

Only you are complaining dearie and your recent posts have not been very on topic and besides, its a public forum.

Sylar is a good interesting and logical hero until he became a villain and saved people, that dastardly man.

Yes he is. His weapon of choice is a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire named Lucille. He then uses that bat to bash his victims heads in.

Names his weapon? very nice.

Toe Cutter from Mad Max, awesome hero with an awesome bike, he runs down helpless villains to make the world a better place. Trivia: Same actor portrayed Immortan Joe in fury road.
