"Lust For Blood" is about the pain of being a vampire. It starts off with a gothic vampire-like melody that turns into a gothic rock sound. "Lust For Blood" is performed by Gackt.
Gackt Camui is a Japanese musician, songwriter and actor. Usually referred to by his stage name only, he is known for his work with Malice Mizer and after leaving Malice Mizer started his career as a solos artist.
Besides Japanese, Gackt has performed in English, French, Korean, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Gackt performed "Lust For Blood" at the diabolos tour after coming out of a rising coffin. In this performance, Gackt also wear a black rube that look like something that a modern day vampire might wear.
"Lust For Blood" is the seventh track on Gackt's Crescent album. The Crescent album was released around the sametime as Gackt's vampire-action film, "Moon Child".
