Based on the hierarchy of White Wolf's Vampire the Masquerade, this series was amazingly fresh and offered great plot and story lines. Fox, pretending to be wiser than the audience, cancelled the show after the initial 8 episodes.

The show was produced in part by Aaron Spelling, which explained the Dynasty/Beverly Hills 90210 feel of the show.
