Derived from Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, the ghastly likeness of Graf Orlok is eerily accurate. His fiendish gaze is fueled by ancient madness, his pallid lips are parted to reveal peculiar incisors similar to those of the plague-ridden rats over which Orlok presides as demonic master. Graf Orlok departs from his decaying castle in the Carpathian Mountains, eventually arriving in Germany aboard a ship otherwise occupied only by a dead captain. The town of Wisborg succumbs quickly to the crumbling force of Orlok’s execrable influence. Ultimately, Orlok is invited into the bedroom of the virtuous Ellen, who sacrifices herself by allowing Orlok to drink her blood, preoccupying him so that he forgets the crow of the rooster.

Every eerie wrinkle and furrow has been captured exactly in this frighteningly life-like portrait. The distinctive costuming has been reproduced in actual fabric, adding more life-like realism. Each bust is hand cast in fiberglass, and hand finished to exacting standards. The bust is mounted on a decorative base, and each piece is individually hand-numbered.
The figure is painted and costumed in grey-scale, true to his stunning original silver screen presence.
Released in 1922, The Vampyre (a.k.a. Nosferatu) introduced vampires to the silver screen with Max Schreck's Count Orlok, who had a very visceral, otherworldly quality.
In this unauthorized version of Dracula, Schreck as County Orlok gives life to the ancient folklore of the blood-thirsty Nosferatu. Orlok's dark obsession with young beauty Ellen Hutter makes her the only one who can destroy this evil monster.
In Schreck's sinister portrayal, the vampire stalks across the screen toward his lovely victim, only her silent screams visible to audiences over the years. The faded black and white film creates an air of terrifying mystery in the age-old tale of terror, deepening the fascination and lore.
