About the band:
The Bella Cullen Project, a teen trio from Arlington, Texas, was the first Twilight-inspired band to upload their original songs on Myspace (6/8/2007) and the first to perform their compositions before a live audience. The members of the band - Chandler Nash, Ally Kiger, and Tori Randall had just completed their 8th grade year when they came up with the idea to form a Twilight fan-band, and have been playing Twilight-based music ever since. Their first performance opportunity arose with the midnight release party of the third book in the Twilight saga, ECLIPSE, on August 6th, 2007 at an independent bookstore at a mall in Cleburne, Texas. With varying tastes in musical genres and styles, the three have collaborated together to compose over 20 original songs. They released their debut CD on July 15, 2008, which was recorded in the home studio of their friend, Brent Moore of Freshly Squozen Sounds. The band has since been featured in various media sources, such as MTV’s TRL, ABC’s Nightline, local ABC affiliate WFAA-TV’s “Young Street” as well as magazines including Cosmogirl, Esquire, Salon and various news publications. In May of 2008, the band had the pleasure of meeting author Stephenie Meyer and performed their song “Sexy Vampire” for her acapella. Recently, the girls were invited to meet Robert Pattison during his stop in Dallas on the Hot Topic Tour and were invited to perform at Summit’s local advance press screening of TWILIGHT, the movie. Currently the band, now high school sophomores, are working on new songs which demonstrate their maturity as individuals and their growth as musicians and hope to record and release another album in 2009.

"I’m largely influenced by my family, my friends and the people around me. I have a large range in my musical taste and enjoy music from nearly every genre! Pop, Rap, Classical, R&B, Punk, Rock, Alternative, Folk, and even Show Tunes! I don't limit myself to one specific category as I feel a well rounded musical taste is important, and all forms of music deserve appreciation. I’m also influenced by performers such as: Ben Folds, Billy Joel, Belle & Sebastian, The Hush Sound, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Katy Perry, Kanye West, Journey, Queen, Regina Spektor, and Bob Dylan."
Chandler Nash-Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Piano
"My main musical influences are Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and Carole King. I'm a big fan of oldies and classic hits. When it comes to more current music, I'm really into everything. I'm not ashamed to admit I love pop music and poprock, but I have taste for all genres."
Ally Kiger-Vocals, Bass Guitar, Tambourine
"My main influences are all very different! I was raised with the awesome music of Queen in the house, so they definitely influence me a lot. Also, every poem I have ever read has inspired me hugely! Poetry is the best way for me to write a song. I am also influenced by The Hush Sound, Cake, Friends of Izzie, Kissinger, Relient K, and Tremolo. I totally admire all of them and their work!"
