The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

This series suffered primarily because CBS thought it would make it in prime-time. Therefore they showed it in a late night slot.



It was a vanguard show in that it portrayed a vampire in a heroic role, and in a twist of irony, he was a homicide detective.



But the thing that made this show great was the comic relief by Knight's partner Det. Schenke.



I saw the original TV movie "Nick Knight", starring 80's pop idol Rick Springfield, and thought it was very good. The series was better. It was a shame how it went off the air.



With the success that Buffy and especially Angel had, it is even a greater tragedy. Because I believe if this show was picked up again, it would do quite well in prime-time.
