Blade came out during the beginning of Hollywood's re-discovery of comic books.
This movie redefined the vampire movie genre, giving it a new edge, and classifying it as action as opposed to horror.
I loved everything about this movie. Wesley Snipes and Stephen Dorff were terrific. I don't know what else to say except, if you haven't seen this, do so now!
Blade a comic to a movie. How many times has this be done and the movie flopped? Well this is not one of them. If you haven't seen Blade and you’re a vampire person then what the hell are you waiting for? I mean it’s been out for how long?
You want action, you want excitement, and you want one liner’s and even two? Want a good story line, want to sit back and have a bit of fun dancing in a rave with blood pouring down from the sprinkler system, then pick it up and come in to the 21st century. Blade will not disappoint you nor bore you to life. Get up off you chair and go and buy a copy.
A gerat pic, Glad there is another to finish the story
NOt the best vampir emovie out there, but the only one with a sword that explodes peoples hands, special effects are good for the burning bodies although the blood looks like melted plastic
A "new" classic. Snipes was made for that part. The best comic adaptation until Spiderman/Xmen.

Blade was good even doe blade is a hunter.But I like Blade 2 better.Now waiting for Blade Trinity Dec. 8 2004.

Always have liked this movie....
have always like Kris Kristofferson, and Wesley Snipes, they make a good team
A most excellent film intresting storyline plenty of action and a solid script as well ~10~
