I recently went into my mentorship setup page to change my background image and now my navigation box is a bit jumbled and I can't even fix it cause when I go to hit submit on any new coding, I get a white screen with my coding come up and that's about it :( it's a shame cause I really do love the new changes but these little bugs suck :( needless to say I'll be leaving my other mentorship setup pages alone for now ... I tried switching to the default layout and the same bug came up as well.

It's back, here's a screenshot, this happens almost everytime I try and update my mentorships setup

Okay so this particular error I believe was only happening because I was attempting to add emojis to the navigation box, unlike my other error on the other profile of mine.

Yes, emojis will cause this error in various areas of the site.. for now.
I am working on making the site 100% emoji compatible, but I'm not there yet (and it will take a while to work through all the pages). Certain areas work now... Like Kismet and I think Honor. But most pages don't work.
Some pages will work if you use the decimal or hexidecimal code for the emoji. That will get the emoji in.. but then when you go to edit the page, the decimal/hexidecimal code converts to a real emoji, which fails when you try to update the page.
So for now, if you REALLY want emojis, you need to use the hex/dec code on entry... and on EVERY edit, you have to reconvert the emojis to hex/dec code.
PITA, which is why I am working toward making the entire site 100% emoji compatible... I'm just not there yet. Many areas of VR are using the same database structure from its creation in 2004, long before there were things like emojis.

Just an update. I've worked my way through several VR sections to make VR 100% emoji compatible. The following sections have been updated:
The Message Center
Kismet
Honor
Journals (comments and posts)
The Forum
Polls
Alliance pages
House/Coven pages
Mentorship pages
All chat pages (webcam, site chat, etc)
I still have several more sections to work my way through.

I'm going to close this issue.
Most areas of the site are emoji-safe now. There are still some spots that aren't. Please report them if you find them.
