They say the Indians were the cause of all this. No one knows for sure. Sutherland Creek is just trying to muddle through with all the strange goings on.

Crypt and his posse(?) try to help. Crypt has a demon in him. Mauve is a vampire who works at the Doc's office. Sister nun mam as Crypt calls her is a sister(?) who is really a sleeper agent. If she hears the name Sarah, she becomes an assassin. Meanwhile she has faith and truly believes she is a sister. Sister can heal you by laying on hands.

What's been happening? Alexander Slade and his assistant Thomas Faraday set up a meeting with Crypt, Sister and Mauve to shed some light on the mysterious deaths of the doctor and his family. It was said that he could also shed some light on the origin of the ring. Two things we knew already was that the ring was dangerous and that it was probably what killed the family.

We left for a dig funded by the rich Slade. We found a crypt with a secret passage that we managed to get in. We, the players being sort of dense, couldn't figure out the riddle most of the game. Finally we found the cursed artifacts. Slade and his men acquired them as we say. Hopefully he will keep them away safe from harm's way. We hope there are no more cursed items in the area for unsuspecting people to discover and die from.

As usual in Sutherland Creek, more deaths . The killer of all these crimes was scheduled to be hung. He threatened to come back. Apparently he did because the murders continued, same "mo".

Usually lonely rich people with no family. Strange smell is noticed in the area. A glow comes from the house. They are found dead with no marks or sign of a fight. Appears that they fell asleep. Sister and Maeve will have to check this out. Maeve can talk to the dead. Perhaps she can get an answer to the strange murders.

And yay for holiday games. Only time we play Deadlands.

There was a shoot out in the saloon by a respected farmer. No reason to the madness. Mauve spoke to the dead. He said he had no memory of anything strange except a feeling of being unstoppable. We noticed a large hole in the back of his neck. Look as if something had burrowed into his neck. Sister and Mauve will have to investigate.

We checked out the scene of the crime. There was a slime trail from where the body was. The trail lead outside in the direction of the bank, general store and the church. We decided to check out the bank first.
