Basic Info and Shite

This profile is disorderly and far from perfection, so I don't expect anyone to rate me 9 or 10 (but if you insist on doing so, go ahead). It also undergoes changes, so if you like what you see, check back every so often. And by "often" I mean maybe once or twice a year. I'm not very active on this site anymore. I also swear I'm better with HTML than what you see here: either what I've done hasn't been updated in years, or I can't do something because I'm not a Premium Member.
"Stalking" on here, for me at least, isn't "stalking." It's me bookmarking your profile because I liked it enough to possibly warrant a return trip in the future. I'm too anti-social to add people as "friends."
If you feel a need to call me by a name, you can call me by one of my many nicknames -- G, Upee, Upers, Yupes, Sigfried, Skwisgaar, et cetera. Even random names like Gordon, Jack, or Steve work -- if I know it's me you're referring to, I don't have a problem. Or you can call me Torridus, which is the pseudonym I generally use when I'm in a band (or two, or three, or four, or five...).
I'm pretty tall (6'1"), thin (underweight), pale-skinned, and have long dark blond hair but I've been considering dyeing it -- less so as of late. I've done some male modeling before, and long blond hair is apparently a plus. I can't truly say what color eyes I have, because they change at random (though they're usually some shade of blue or grey).
I'm not saying how old I am here.... if you
really want to know, then ask. I don't believe that age is significant when talking to people; it's the level of maturity that one has achieved that truly matters.
I'm not what you would call an "open" person. There are people whom I've known for years that can't even spell my name right (pretty sad, really -- for them). This profile has much more information in it than it would 'back in the day.' I'm a very honest person; years ago, I swore never to lie... I don't feel like explaining the rationale behind it... so I always tell the truth. There's an easy loophole or two; But really, I'm pretty honest and a nice guy so I think it's easy to trust me.
I'm also slightly eccentric and anti-social. But not really. Or maybe it's true; you can find out for yourself. Sometimes it's fun to make people confused. Sometimes I end up confusing
myself, unfortunately....
I'm rather nocturnal and like writing stories, creating music, doing arsty-fartsy stuff like drawing, writing, and so on. I currently have several novels in the midst of production - I unfortunately have never finished any (I often procrastinate), but my longest running story will hopefully take up two novel-sized books (Duologies for the win -- your "Epic Trilogies" can suck it). And it gets more insane with every chapter. But insanity and randomness are good... right? I like reading Tolkien, Anne Rice (older stuff), Cussler, Crichton, and H.P. Lovecraft the most.
I
used to have some pictures in my Portfolio if you wanted to go check it out (everything was purged in some ancient database update or whatever).... but don't bother with my journal. It shouldn't even be there; I think I used it once or twice, which is nearly inconsequential. I am also a "grammar nazi" and
will judge you on your spelling. Probably. You might want to beware, but maybe not.
I'm quite tolerant of other religions (and like Theology), which may explain why I turned from Christianity; but at this point, I do not subscribe to any form of religion. Currently I am an Atheist, and nothing has overpowered my inherent cynicism to draw me from that path yet.
I also like Japanese stuff, including anime/manga (my favorites include Hellsing and Rurouni Kenshin) and sushi; I have a katana and I know how to use it (kenjutsu). Or "knew," really -- I haven't practiced in a long time.
I'm also semi-multilingual, but only fluent in English. When I get low on sleep I become slightly more insane than usual and will pepper my conversation with more "lol"s than normal.
I play electric guitar, acoustic guitar, electric bass, keyboards, piano, and drums. Really, I can play any instrument I have ever touched (except for the kazoo, damn that thing). I also have a lot of bands and side-projects because I hate sticking to one genre for awhile. Music is my passion more so than anything else.
I play video games too (my favorite series are Final Fantasy, 007, Soul Calibur, Devil may Cry, Guitar Hero, and Castlevania). Though I have to admit that I quit Final Fantasy after they came out with 10.
In school, my worst subject is math. I dislike that particular subject greatly; fortunately I'm done with it permanently, and will never have to do anything more complicated than algebra again. World History and Art would be my favorites (I don't like to study my own country, which has had less than a few thousand years of history).... Currently I'm at college at well on my way towards a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design. I've also picked up an interest in web design, among other things.
