I wrote the following poem:
Mermaid
I look down over the cliff at the glaring water beckoning for me to come and join the immense blue. I wish the peace would come to me and make the temptation stop. Around me surrounding me is the haze that encompasses my world, the world that slowly draws away from me into the clear sun. The blood dripping from my eyes is never ending and I feel the need to drown in the crimson of my life, leaving nothing behind me. Tears never last and love never stays. Slowly as if out of no where I hear the call of the water and I give in. Gracefully I soar off the edge of the world into the shattering glass. I hear it break as it surrounds me. I become a mermaid in the depths of the wetness. Opening my eyes to a new world where only I know. For once in my life I am free to feel pain and have the water be my true friend carrying me into the night under the stars. The ones that now only shine for me.
I am afraid of the dark even tho I like being in the dark. I am very passionate about the things I love. I am terrified of going underneath water. My mood changes with the moon. My right leg will twitch if sex is good. After gaining weight I feel more comfortable naked. I can't spell. If it wasn't for spell check I'd be lost.
I have experienced a lot in my life. At 10 my step father tried to commit suicide and when I was 17 my mother tried. I had an abusive biological father. At 14 I began to cut myself. It was easier than trying to deal with what I was going through. It has been almost 3 years since I hurt myself. It has made me a stronger and better person.

I have 9 tattoos. Most of them in very painful places. The one that means the most to me is on my leg. It is over scars of the last time I cut myself as a reminder not to do it again. (Personally I would not recommend people getting tattoos over scar tissue, but to each his own)
I believe age is only a number, sex is very important, love is one of the most good and evil things that we as humans can experience, people should at least drive the speed limit, karma is a bitch, life only gives you lemons if you look for them, cemetery’s really aren’t that creepy, money shouldn’t exist, I have a temper, my boobs are to big, penis size does matter, foreplay is a must, you can walk into open doors, crying makes you feel better, you should feel whatever you want to feel and no one should tell you different, real men cry, jealousy is idiotic, throwing paper clips to make a point really doesn’t, if someone gives you a flat tire make a bird shit on their head, pot should be legal, and people can either become really attractive or really ugly over time.
In additional no one should ever buy lace underwear the 2nd time you put them on your finger will go right through it, falling out of love is harder than falling in love, , you can only hate the ones you once loved, everyone should walk around naked (my theory behind this first it would save a lot of money and energy, and people would either care more about their appearance or be more accepting of others).
