I love reading and I love to read romance books. Especially the Regency Era Romances. However, you will see me read just about any kind of book, it just needs to be a good story. I have read all of J.R.R. Tolkien's books and have read the Harry Potter series and I place them among my favorites. Along with Jane Austen's superb works. I like Vampire Kisses series, manga, Generation Dead series, The Secret Circle series, Vampire Diaries series, E.A. Poe, poetry in general, and lots & lots of other books. I also read a lot of current trending book series like Twilight, The Hunger Games, 50 Shades and lots of others. I also read a lot of classics as well. I read ebooks with Kindle but mainly the ones that are only available in ebook format. I prefer to own the actual books.

I listen to many genres of music in many different languages. My most enjoyable being K-Pop or Korean Pop. Along with New Age and Celtic music. My favorite music artist is Enya (whom I might note is Irish as well!) and my favorite music groups are Celtic Woman and the Wonder Girls (a South Korean group). I like Girls' Generation, Miss A, IU, Kanon Wakeshima, Nicki Minaj, Muse, Simple Plan, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, Gary Stadler, Celine Dion, and, of course, many more!

My favorite television shows would have to be Larkrise to Candleford, The Vampire Diaries, Downton Abbey, Vicar of Dibley, and I enjoy watching a lot of PBS Masterpiece Classic/Theatre. I also love the Ellen GeGeneres Show, Antiques Roadshow, Ghost Hunters, GH: International, Destination Truth, Jersey Shore (why do I like this show???), Secret Circle, The Tudors, True Blood, Once Upon A Time, anime shows (I watch too many to list! lol), and more!

Elizabeth Bathory - Erzsébet Báthory
1560-1614
Elizabeth Bathory was a woman of noble birth. She is considered an actual real vampire among many. She would kill young innocent girls and bathe in their blood. There is some speculation that she had even drank the blood. She thought it preserved her beauty and youthfulness. In her diary there was said to be documented, by Elizabeth herself, the deaths of over 600 girls. They were cut with scissors, pricked with pins, even prodded with burning irons onto short spikes in a cage hung from the ceiling to provide Bathory with a "blood shower". Some other torture methods that are speculated that Elizabeth used were sewing girls' mouths shut, forcing them to eat strips of their own flesh, burning their genitals, making girls stand outside in the winter months naked as she had helpers pour cold water over them until they froze to death, and stabbing them in multiple places on the body with needles including under the fingernails. When one girl finally escaped, it eventually led to the discovery of Elizabeth's evil. She had a trial and her sentence was to be walled up in a room for the remainder of her life with nothing but a small hole big enough to fit not much more than a hand through. Three years later she died, face down on her floor. From what cause no one really knows. I am always searching information on Bathory. What she did is terrible and is not something I like. But the story is mysterious to me and something I want to learn more about. It has a fantasy feel to it, something that seems that it could almost be supernatural, most definitely evil, but supernatural. It being an actual true story makes it even more curious to me.
