I think it is time to finally make this into a profile; I apologize to those who have seen this in the past and rated it based on my half-assed, two word description of myself.
Yes, I am a tortured artist. The works I placed in my portfolio are mine, but not a very good representation of my art. Thus far in my career I spend more time reproducing art than creating originals. I work in either graphite, or paint in acrylics. I also do murals, including a very large Lichtenstein that runs the entire length of my basement wall.
That’s the boring answer to the question that everyone always asks but no one really cares about.
Moving on…
I’m the girl next door gone horribly, horribly wrong. I’m a typical art student—I dress all in black, I dye my hair, I’m covered in paint. I’m nocturnal. I smoke clove cigarettes. I’m terribly misunderstood.
If you love me, you’ll let me eat your brain.
My favorite book is House of Leaves. If you haven’t read it, you really should. It’s the most interesting work I’ve ever picked up.
I live for loud music. Right now my band list is:
a perfect circle, arto lindsay, the beatles, blue man group, culture club, david bowie, deftones, disturbed, ditty bops, dresden dolls, duran duran, electric six, fiona apple, gravity kills, him, hungry lucy, jack off jill, kidney thieves, kill hannah, llama, madonna, mindless self indulgence, mr. bungle, nine inch nails, nirvana, the offspring, pat benatar, paz lenchantin, poe, snake river conspiracy, sunna, theatre of tragedy, tub ring, vandals, world/inferno friendship society, you're pretty, and zeromancer.
It’s not that I’m always wrong, it’s that I’m never right. I have a small group of very close friends that i love and loathe simultaneously. I’m socially awkward. I talk to myself. I hate driving. I laugh very easily about everything, even when highly inappropriate. I hang out in diners. I have an obsessive personality. I’m afraid of the telephone. I always know the perfect thing to say after the moment’s passed. I love South Park and Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. I’m impure and my sense of humor certainly reflects that trait. I drink my sugar with coffee, not the other way around. I've been known to walk into a grocery store and leave with a bag full of nothing more than jellybeans, chocolate or various gummy candies.
