I already know I'm young & naive, question is what am I going to do about it.
There's a part of me that's screaming to be heard, & with every breath I take the more it yearns. A long time ago I was simple & sweet, but then my world was shaken & shattered. The moment I turned eleven my life changed, drastically. And no I don't mean I grew fangs & the ability to manipulate the thoughts of others, though I wish I had. I became an outsider, people just didn't seem to get me. Or rather I stopped listening to the bullshit people tried to spoon feed me.
The name's Hope & I'm 14, well almost. & most people won't even read past this, but I don't really mind or care. But just a quick thing about me: I'm a music geek, vampires fascinate me, romance is my favorite topic of discussion, I like trying new things (kind of the reason I'm here), & phonies&fakes are not welcome, if you aren't going to be real, then I'll be honest: I'm not interested in people who pretend to be what they aren't.
I'm a bibliophile & proud of it. My addiction to the tales of star crossed lovers, forgotten heroes, & scorned heroines compels me to read. Every since I was a child I'd lock myself in my room & read to pass time, to escape, & most of all to learn about the thoughts & feelings of other people.
There's a funny thing about falling in love, once you're in you don't ever want to come out. & as you lay in bed at night, thoughts of them consume your mind. It drives you to the point of insanity to the point you want to mash your head into a wall. It's a drug, & it's okay to be addicted.
Music isn't just dropping beats, it's expression, it's feeling, it's everything. When I had nothing, music gave me an escape, it gave me something to relate to when no one would listen. The best thing about music is that when you play it loud enough, people listen & sometimes understand.
