Kind of a babybat, a newbie to this website. Really into alternative music, not just Gothic Rock/New Wave/Post Punk, but pretty much anything that falls under that umbrella. I started out listening to grunge because of the 90's revival, but then I got into (in no particular order) New Wave, Industrial, Emo briefly and eventually Goth, and have stuck with the scene ever since.
I'm always willing to talk about music and new stuff coming out, I especially love reviewing albums and talking about artists. Some of my favorites are Siouxsie and the Banshees, NIN, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, The Velvet Underground, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Bauhaus and Voltaire to name a few. In general, I have very eclectic taste, and listen to anything from Halsey to Wumpscut because my music taste never really stays in one place.
I am kind of isolated from the scene as I live in a sleepy county in New England without much of a scene or things to do in general, but I manage through the internet and going to concerts when I'm able/have the funds. I prefer to diy my clothes and go to thrift shops rather than shopping online because online things tend to be quite expensive, and it just feels better to me to be able to try things on in person and tailor it to my own forbidden.
I'm definitely a very creative person and sew, paint, collage and write poetry in my spare time. My forbidden is more of a surreal/fantastical forbidden than anything. Think Tim Burton or Alice in Wonderland.
