Yes, I am a Christian, though my idea of what it means to be “Christ-like” is unorthodox, at best. It is probably different from anything you have ever heard before. My journey has been a long one, and is by no means nearing its end any time soon. My definition of “God” is one that is constantly evolving. It is more than just “The Creator” or “A man on a cloud, waiting to strike us down”. I have studied many different philosophies and theologies in my quest to understand existence on both an individual level and that of the macrocosm.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you

I do not claim to have all the answers, though I seek out new opportunities to learn and increase the knowledge I possess at every opportunity. I believe each one of us is responsible for our own destiny, and accountable for our own actions. I do not force my opinions on others, but I know where I stand and have no problem engaging in conversations regarding my belief system, as long as they are of a respectful nature. I believe that we can all learn from one another and have something to contribute to a discussion of this magnitude. My search has enabled to me to form ideas and draw my own conclusions from not only the Holy Bible, but the Quran, Talmud, Zohar, Wicca, Buddhism and other religious/spiritual influences along the way. Some of these I am more well-versed in than others, but I take solace in knowing that I am at least searching for answers and understanding.

I am by no means perfect or without blemish. I have more faults than I can count, though I try to refrain from displaying them whenever I see the potential for their manifestation in my daily life. However, if you were to ask me about them, I would readily accept responsibility for them. I believe unwaveringly in personal accountability and honor. The measure of a man is more than his height and weight. Rather, it is the embodiment of all that he is and all he is capable of becoming.
In Closing
As for the whole rating thing, I rate how I feel at the time, which can be very inconsistent. If I find something that stands out, I will usually accompany my rate with a message. Feel free to message me, as well. I enjoy a good debate, and am perfectly capable of discussing sensitive subjects without waging personal attacks or becoming offended by a difference of opinion.
