Never laugh at live dragons ~ Bilbo Baggins
Call me Star, if you'd like...
In school I never fit in with anyone and therefore I never belonged anywhere and yet everywhere at the same time. I've always been one to make my own decisions, even if it was against the flow.
I've always loved the stars. Sometimes living in a suburb of Denver, I think that I could live in a smaller town so I could just see more stars at night. For my 30th birthday I got a tattoo of 5 falling/shooting stars across my foot. Some thought it was a strange spot for my first tattoo since it is supposed to be one of the most painful areas to get one.
I've been 'Starmaiden' since 2007, when I made my second toon (avatar) in World of Warcraft (WoW). Somehow in so many ways I identify with that name more than my own name. Nearly every toon I've made since has been named Star(fill in the blank) so most just call me Star.
Along with my love of WoW, I love other RPGs (role playing games), my most favorite being the Final Fantasy games. My favorite of the Final Fantasy games would be VII, X, and X-2. Tho FFVII will always hold a special place in my heart as it was the first FF game I played.
And of course I have a love of vampires. Figures I'd fall madly in love with someone who goes by Lestat... You know who you are love. I've read many vampire books over the years starting with the Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith shortly after they were fist published. I moved quickly onto Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, tho I haven't finished the series yet I stopped at what was available to me at the time. My latest vampire reads have been the Twilight Series (Stephine Meyer) and the House of Night (P.C. Cast & Kristin Cast).
I don't only read about vampires. If I had to pick a favorite author I'd say Stephen King. But as long as the story is good, I'll read it. I love getting lost in a good story. This perhaps explains my love of RPGs as they pretty much an interactive books, to one degree or another. But don't let my love of Stephen King or anything on that level fool you. I'm a romantic at heart.
INFP. Say what? If you've heard what the Myers Briggs personality test (or sometimes called Jung), then you might know what that is.
