Chameleon
We are forever transient beings. I experience extremes of the Dionysian and Apollonian. I am the Judge, forever torn between compassion, pity, and hate. I occupy the extremes of all poles alternately. Plagued by mania and depression, I am pure intensity. I embody good and evil, and all that necessity dictates.

Philosopher
Philosophy and science are ideally the same. What philosophy provides is a way to explain universal workings until science evolves enough to accompany our understanding. Philosophy is the critical underpinning that provides an intuitive and inductive approach toward an appropriate cosmology. One may be either an empiricist or an idealist with equal rectitude. Dualism is not duality, and to embrace it is to walk the line of greatest folly. There is only one thing, and all perceived opposites are two sides of the same coin. “Wisdom comes through suffering.” I work to understand the seven principles of Hermetic Alchemy and to transmute all that is base into pure (overcoming myself). My ideas are centuries old, if not millennia. Greater minds than mine have shone out into the wilderness of human error. Yet, people still deny what my predecessors and I found self-evident. Optimistically, we are on the brink of a breakthrough in understanding and evolution. Pessimistically, we are poised for a terrible but necessary disaster. I am not sure which outcome is the result of my wishful thinking.

Academic
I pursue an austere ideal: Grand Unification of all disciplines. All disciplines are intertwined and can be described from the frame of reference of each other. Understanding starts with an intuitive grasp of cosmology and the principles by which the universe works. The workings of the mind are not unlike quantum mechanics, and psychology is no stranger to economics. All of these disciplines are merely one method of observing the underlying patterns in the universe. These patterns express universal properties, and are filaments of Indra’s net.

Aesthete
Aesthetics defines a fundamental gradient of experience in our lives. Aesthetics encompasses ethics, which in turn determines our actions. This is particularly difficult to explain because it exists in the realm of subjective experience. An aesthetic experience is one of power: a grand and terrible thing that gives an inkling of the immensity of the universal oneness. These experiences influence our perceptions and decisions. Therefore, art is life. We must all endeavor to live our life as if it were an artwork. The purpose lies in the Moment, a thing that only fools deny. We constantly stand on the crossroads of infinite probability, artists with an immeasurable palette. The creation is entirely up to the individual.
