So, a little about myself. I joined this website because I wanted to learn more about the vampire and other "taboo" subcultures. I originally was just going to chat an as anon, but some other users convinced me otherwise. You guys know who you are. ;P
I, myself, am more interested in learning about psi vampires, or vampires dealing more with the energy aspect of things. I notice that in the community, there is a lot of labeling to differentiate different types of energy dealing vampires, but just for the sake of simplicity, whenever I mention psi vampires, I just mean any vampire that takes in energy, whether it just be natural energy, emotional energy, sexual energy, etc. Technically, I think the term psi vampire is incorrect. Psi vampires are really just people with mage like abilities, but aren't exactly full mages. However, it's just a label and if you wish to identify yourself as that, I have no problem. The only reason I use the term psi vampire is to cause less confusion when talking to others and not to insult someone who wishes to be called a psi vampire and not something else.
To be honest, I'm pretty interested in all things energy, or dealing with the soul. So, that means I'm also interested in mages, soul shapeshifters/shapeshifters, etc. This isn't to say that I'm against learning about the part of the vampire community that deals with blood, but I'd rather learn where my interests lay.
I KNOW mages and stereotypical vampires who have fangs and live for hundreds of years exist. I would love to chat with you and learn more about things. However, I highly doubt you'd reveal yourself to me, or even be on a website like this. But, you know, you automatically fail if you don't try, so I'm giving it a shot.
About my username:
I was an anon on video chat, and talking to some people about psi vampires. One of the reasons why I'm interested in psi vampires is because I've been told that my energy, when someone else draws from it, instantly replenishes. (However, when I use my own energy (like to work on my charkras), I use up my reserves very quickly.) A user had told me that he had come upon people like that before, and he called them refridgerators. xD Hence my username - I am like a refrigerator. I wouldn't mind others drawing off my energy if it doesn't affect me or make me tired, so I'd like to help psi vampires if I could (of course, you must ask permission first). I am also curious on how much I could replenish, etc.
As far as helping other vampires who'd like drinking blood - sorry. Not my thing.
Some other mundane things about me:
I'm not emo or gothic. While I can appreciate the fashion, it's really not my thing. However, I wouldn't mind dressing in some forms of visual kei once and a while. I like many different types of fashion (recently got into it), but it's not my life.
I'm not into hardcore rock and screaming music either. Well, not big on music in general. It's nice to listen to sometimes, and when I do listen to it, it's Jpop and Jrock. The only artist I really follow is GACKT. I really dislike rap.
I like anime/manga, especially yaoi.
I love cats - domestic or big, doesn't matter. :3
I consider myself a Christian, and was raised Lutheran. However, I don't go by extremist Christian views and find my own way with God. I don't believe everything in the bible or what's said in Church. It's the same way with the psychic community (which I find can be really close minded at times) - I don't believe all of their views either. I will not bash your religion, but will stand firm in my beliefs, and I expect the same of others.
I plan on being an x-ray tech, specifically a CT/CAT scan specialist, but who knows. Kinda dropping out of college for now due to a bump in the road of life.

Some people come on VR to find other vampires. Others come because they are interested in the dark rave culture life. I come here in hope to gain knowledge and wisdom and to give some as well. I didn't come here with the purpose of making friends, but if it happens, it happens.
