The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Well, I suppose I should give a better description of myself. Yes, I'm 33, but I've been aware of my blood cravings since I was about 12. I have spent most of the years in between then and now going crazy looking for blood. Back in my teenage years I was lucky to have a couple of friends who would donate to me, but for most of my adulthood there's barely been anything, or anyone.

I tend to shy away from most of the typical vampire trappings, and honestly a lot of self-described vampire communities and personalities I've come across online have been utterly ridiculous, and seemingly fixated on the mythical representations of vampires. Not to say you can't be into the traditional vampire or goth aesthetic, but that certainly isn't a requirement. Same with the religious overtones of some vampiric groups. I am not trying to demean anyone, but I also don't want to be patronized; I've been aware of my vampirism longer than some of you guys have been alive. If you're younger, please don't take this the wrong way. I want to welcome any younger people so they don't feel alone like I did :)

So, what am I doing here? Like I said, I've barely had any donors during the course of my adulthood. I have tried suppressing my blood cravings many times, resulting in feelings of sickness and depression and urges to take what I want violently. I would never hurt an innocent person to satisfy myself, but I really hate feeling that way. It's awful. No one deserves to be taken advantage of in that way against their will.

I ultimately want to find a donor if I can, but I realize that one probably won't just fall into my lap. I'm excited to finally find a vampire community that's actually still active, and learn from others, possibly teach others, and make friendships. If you want to reach out please don't hesitate :)
