Human society as a whole has become disappointing, we have traded books and knowledge for smartphones and ipads, thus eliminating our need to think. Well not I. Call me an intellect or even an old soul, but I believe that knowledge is power. Knowledge foster's passion. Yes there is a difference between passion and the lustful, animalistic sex that most people try to pass off as passion.
Point being, this new world of technology, the elimination of paper, pen and book, it sickens me.
Give me an ipad or smartphone and i will thank you while silently vowing never to use it.

I grew up with the understanding that if you broke the rules, you were punished, You work, even at a young age, for the good of your unit (household). You studied hard in school, because intelligence can get you farther in life than anything. You never cried, you sucked it up and walked it off, because the people who see your emotions have the power to hurt you worse than anyone.
