Hel's Profile at Vampire Rave.

This profile is not meant to be one about myself. It was created to assist friends and enjoy a coven that seems it would be interesting. As such, there will be no information about myself in real life upon this profile. I have two other profiles for that. I wrote this profile from the viewpoint of Hel, as I have always been greatly interested in the Norse pantheon. She has always had my greatest respect, and I've always wondered what life was like as she knew it.

I am Hel, Norse Goddess of the Dead. My father is Loki the Trickster, and my mother a frost giantess named Angrboda. I have two brothers, Fenrir the wolf, and Jormungand, also known as the Midgard serpent.

I rule the realm named after myself in Niflheim, and am caretaker of the dead. Odin himself appointed me ruler of Helheim and bestowed upon me power over the nine worlds, that I must administer board and lodging to those sent to me, and that is those who die of any cause other than in battle. I determine the fate of those who enter within my realm, and give them their just rewards for the life they have lived.

Those who die in battle go to Valhalla, where they feast for all eternity with Odin and the Valkyries.
