My interest in vampires is recent and as for the reasons for this, I am unclear. The night has always been a companion of mine, so possibly like sleeping habits drive my curiosity.

The aspect of sub-culture filled with agelessness is profoundly intriguing. My mind has always been an open door to ideas of the supernatural and of ancient context.

While my understanding of the myths and legends of old are nearly lacking existence, I feel that the mainstream media's version of vampires and other entities has possibly been twisted beyond recognition. I only search for truth with the acceptance that not all was meant to be uncovered, and in this I find comfort at my own ignorant origins.
