Holy men tell us life is a mystery.
They embrace that concept happily.
But some mysteries bite and bark
and come to get you in the dark.

I'm new here. But nevertheless, this looks like a jolly site - very kitsch!
Also, I was hoping to draw some new blood into this place - I think that my noirish friends would greatly enjoy it. There really are some lovely people here.
Ahem.

As for my intent? Well, I'm probably as vamped internally as one could be, to be perfectly honest. Sired as I was (In a way) by a beautiful petite Gangrel called Hazel in Glasgow. Don't get me wrong, it was one of those LARP thingies: Vampire the Masquerade. Also, a werewolf clan (Sorta)
Awesome, eh?
Of course, I only knew of it then, because the computer game based off the DnD revolution that was
Vampire the Masquerade was
pretty frikkin awesome .
Later on, I discovered that some person was using my name in the depths of Edinburgh LARPing in the very same thing. Something of a coinkydink, very peculiar, but it tickled me to know that I am also a Primogen of the eminent Tremere clan (A naughty thamaturgists Vampire sect) So, anyway. I'm here now and be warned - I am a
very naughty , vamp/dark blogger from afar.
My principle loves are Hard Rock(Foo Fighters, Tenacious D being a bedrock of this), Metal, anything underworldish or dark. But I also quite like annoyingly cheery pop, like,
Beyonce (An ebon beauty with the voice of sweet cherry pie. Or something.) and
Taylor Swift
Some of my favoured sanguine Minstrels:
Vampire Weekend Vienna Teng
AC/DC
Marillion/Muse
Porcelain Black
Iron Maiden
Rainbow Rhianna
Emii
Sia
Birthday Massacre
Led Zepplin
Ozzy Osbourne
Offspring
Dixie Chicks
I can't really cover it all here, by any measure. If you're deeply curious, just ask for a link to one of my several
Youtube playlists, always happy to share a song.
Reading is a passion of mine too, but I gotta say, if it hasn't got pictures - you're not likely to find me being distracted by it for long. (Marvel/DC/etc)
Now, if you're talking about Tolkien - I will endure it (Cos, it's awesome.) Elizabeth Kostova wrote a charming, and eloquent Vampire novel, called
The Historian (Possibly the best re-imagining of Bram Stokers anywhere (Think if J.R.Tolkien had written it, then you have good idea of the level of eloquence and imagry.) Edward Cullen's showcase is something I am not hugely familiar with, I really ought to say, though, but I won't slight it nowadays (It never pays to slate a novellist of great heft (World-wide, I can't speak for her physical person. lol) Anyway, I could bore you with a thousands books, but those are the few, lovely Vampy ones I know of. You may also find that I write lots of poetry, (LOTS) I also blog, mess around with GIMP 2.81 and generally am a youthful jester (Eternally. Natch.)
Kinda like the one in Skyrim...
Or not.
Look into the Mirror - what do you see?
Also, please feel free to bite me. I kinda like that sorta thing - it's amusing. But please be aware, I'm possibly old enough to be your Antideluvian (Possibly.) ;P
