The Broken Angel

She is an angel who glow has started to dim;
It's like a basket ball hitting the rim;
she is always inches short of becoming a winner;
her wings are broken and her halos gone;
she hasn't seen the light in centuries dawn;
her will is strong;
even though she knows there will be no tommarrow
