The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I’m a HLV residing in "The Last Frontier", Alaska. I am often approached with questions concerning the inaccurate perspectives on where I live. For some people, the film "30 Days of Night" comes to mind. I would (usually) mention Deadhorse, Alaska near the Arctic Circle. A place where night can last for over two months but, daylight can as well...So is the balance of things. Just as we balance the Dayside and Nightside elements in our lives.
After my introduction to the OVC over seven years ago, I've participated on several forums and began a continuous search for vampyres in "The Last Frontier". It gets difficult being (and feeling) so far away from the Lower 48 and it's Vampyre Community... "30 Days of Night" becomes a reality in many ways, especially in regards to distance and isolation. Awakenings can be hard and confusing times. The experience is different for everyone.
There are many supportive groups and reference links on the internet/ OVC that can help... But at times, it's good to know (and realize) that there are Kindred in the immediate-local community... and that we are not alone! For this reason, I became a chapterhead for Bloodlines International , organizer of Alaska's first vampyre meetup, creator of the Nocturné Borealis, Alaska’s Premiere Vampire Website.
